God bless her, she's a braver person than me and I'm a former Marine who served in Viet Nam. I almost peed myself just watching this video. If I'm going to die it's going to be down here on solid earth. I don't want time to think about what's going to happen as I fly down to the ground.
You, ma'am, don't like heights. But you aren't afraid of heights. I nearly had an anxiety attack watching that. I could do the inside work...being that high but not seeing outside would be fine. The second that hatch opened I would be paralyzed.
That scared me to death. If she had started down one of those blades (I'm told they do that), I would have stopped the video. Back to tractor pulls and drag racing.
From what I understand, the $30k to $50k is for techs who are starting from the bottom with no experience to those who are stationary. I've read comments from techs stating that 'traveling' is really where the money is.
@@bel.z.1130yes sir, I heard that the U.S proposed a bill to build over 10,000 offshore turbines with contracted companies and will need at least 10 times the amount of man power by 2040
@@bel.z.1130 it’s all good man, the future is only going to go up, pay for technicians and job security, everything will be fine just gotta hang in there, you’ll land that 6 figure gig
There a neat idea but we were told the blades cannot be recycled but I believe this is false information , and I'm sure solar panels and any renuable power has waste too
It's not the fall that hurts you, it's the sudden stop.

I love that there's a mechanical bull in the shop behind her.
Oh yes, I would do that and would love to even climb one of the super tall radio or tv antenna towers.

I looked up the salary for a wind turbine tech and the pay is not high. It ranges from the upper $30k range to the low $50k range.

Nope
Windmills are not a good idea ,but Im sure one day everyone will figure that out when they stop listening to foolish people.
why not...?
what´s bad about a literal money generating machine? once they are set up it´s like free money (appart from the maintenance of course)
