Luke 22:32, Jesus prayed for Peter that His Faith wouldn't fail, but when he is restored (experience) he should strengthen his brethren. Our experience is necessary cos Hebrews 5 makes it clear that before a priest can priest over a people he must know what it feels like (experience). This is why a preacher by profession on immoralities can only give general instruction, but a preacher (who experienced the battle) can help others. James 1:2 says when we are tempted, it is our faith that is tried, not experience.. so who do God say you are?... this truth will set u free. The heroes of faith (not heroes of experience) failed in experience at some point, but they kept believing, that is true Faith. Abraham messed up with his maid (experience) ,but he trusted God. How about David (experience with bathsheba), but he trusted...
