I knew this band back in the days, never listened much to them. Sounded pretty good.
I think this is the last song they'll drop from their album they dropped over a year ago. They've put out I think a total of 5 video's/lyric videos from their past album Bach hasn't been in Skid Row for nearly 30 years now. But Skid Row has always been a band touring etc, they've had a few singers over the past 26 years but the one they have now Erik seems to be having the biggest impact w/ the fans. They've been touring w/ Erik pretty much non stop other than a few weeks off here and there for nearly the past 2 years. All over the world. And after they finally wrap up this tour and take some time off, they'll get back to the studio and work on another album. One thing to know is the singer Erik when he recorded the vocals for this, he did most of it at his home in Sweden and he was only a few months removed from chemo and a bone marrow transplant. He was still pretty sick. So I'm stoked to hear how he'll sound on the next album. As for the concept of this video, I'm sure exactly what it was about. Cause the song is actually about how so many people now a days are crazy, evil like social media clowns etc. and how everyone tries to bring others down but we can't let them get in our heads we have to lift ourselves up and basically be smarter and better than that.
The singer is Erik Grönwall....A singer from Sweden.

Man, I haven't listen to Skid Row for years and like you I thought they broke up but the Metal Archives says they have been releasing stuff constantly except for a gap around 2006-2013. They do have a new vocalist, but they sound pretty much the same as I remember. One thing about the pentagram, it goes back to the Sumerians. the Greeks used the pentagram as a symbol of mutual recognition, of wellbeing, and to recognize good deeds and charity and from 300 to 150BCE it was the symbol of Jerusalem. In the Middle Ages Christians used it to symbolize the five wounds of Christ. Like many symbols, it has been used and abused by a wide variety of cultures and it was not until the renaissance that it began to be use as a symbol of the occult. To me, the lyrics are a tale of rising above the corruption and evil in a world on fire but it is not the end of days. The line "it's not religion, I'm not the voodoo child" seems to say the problem is the people who abuse power and authority and the need to fight against them. Stay safe, God Bless, and keep rocking.

It’s the same thing with the “Swastika” , it is used in many cultures as a symbol for happiness, holiness, life strength before it became a negative thing during WWII.
@@frank1963 Sadly, this is an old and too often repeated story. People condemn something with no real knowledge of its history, a process made worse by social media. The best example is the OK sign. Used since the time of the Greeks, it has always had a positive connotation (except for a few cultures such as the Japanese and Middle East) until 2017, when 4chan claimed the gesture was a white power symbol as a satirical joke. Sadly, too many took the joke as a serious report, including the very biased ADL.

The stupid thing about all this is that the people who abuse social media actually have all the information they can imagine via their smartphone. they just don't know where to look or find it more important to go with the crowd.
