  • Paul explains one of the main reasons that he chooses not to consume fish. He shares a study about the correlation between eating fish and higher levels of PFAS in the blood and a study on PFAS in a seafood consuming population.

Dude, the Faroe islands study says in the last sentence that the reductions in chemicals in the body were due to reductions in chemicals in consumer products, not fish. Cumon.

So some people ate 0.8 fish meals per month and some ate 1.2 fish meals per month. And the people who ate half a meal more of fish correlated with a slightly increased chemical level. Somewhere--what country? Based on a survey asking them to estimate how much fish they eat.

I can't imagine being so obsessed with trying to live 100% perfectly. Kudos to you, but I don't really want to live to be 150. I'm happy eating the best way I can without going to seemingly excessive extremes.

With all the stress about food, u wont get 150. Just dont be fat and excercise on a regular basis. In my opinion we can eat all food from the broad spectrum. Everything in moderation would be my message.

You have not touched on PFAS getting into animals and plants through simple things like contaminated water supplies. Our drink water may come from cleaner ground water, but agricultural ground makes more use of contaminated surface water. So our organic crops and grass fed beef become questionable. The grass on the other side may very well be greener.

Yes. You are right! Even Bananas are found to contain high levels of Aluminium and Cadmium from Banana plants in several countries as Banana plants are heavy feeders from the soil.
Heavy metals and nanoplastics in our environment and also in the food we consume, is a major issue and not likely to get better in the future.

Its sad that most of the "medical" community will try to ridicule you publicaly, you chose to speak true that is against the interests of pretty much all of the medicinal industry. I appreciate your work and your goal to give back the awareness of rights and wrongs.
But still, your aproach is kind of extreme. Not everyone is dedicated like you. Most people were and will eat bread and vegetables and stuff, because its tasty and pleasent. Still, i learn a lot here.

Love your content Doc S! This whole thing about pollution in fish has me scratching my head. The oceans have pollution , yes. It is believed however, that the oceans are some 36 times the size of the United States. Fish swam thru that much pollution, got captured, and made its way to the shelves at the supermarket, then I bought it , and ate it. It sounds "a bit far fetched to me" I don't know, just saying...
