Adjacent to Cantley & Branton was Cantley Common, 1766, which was once used for horse racing before it was eventually sited at St Leger Way, Doncaster.. Also Cantley was famous for its roman kilns.
Haha well Sutton is a common name, I guess Cantley was just a coincidence. Norfolk is a LONG way away yet though. With 544 parishes across the entire county itll take me ages to do it too!
@@TheVillageIdiotthere's some beautiful villages down there especially the broadland District. I believe Norfolk is split into 7 Districts which should make it a bit easier
@@davebirch1976 It is indeed! Although no parishes in Norwich, so effectively only 6. Broadland is a lovely part of the country, that'll be a fab district to do. King's Lynn and West Norfolk has the biggest challenge - Sandringham. No idea how much I'll get to film there!
@@TheVillageIdiotwhen you do Wroxham and Hoveton make sure you get them the right way round as one side of the bridge is hoveton and the other side is Wroxham, and good luck with the pronunciation of places there's some beauties down there Happisburgh and Acle to name two 😂
@@ianmangham4570 Big Cantley as you put it is unparished so I won't be doing it unfortunately. The same goes for Bessacarr. The channel aims to visits every parish in the country. Tough ask but I'm determined haha

Pity Canters Bistro and wine bar wasnt open when you were there, sure you would have enjoyed a lovely coffee or maybe a beer!
Haha well, maybe a trip through Old Cantley after doing Armthorpe...never say never :D
Canters is no longer there, and has been sold.
Love the fact in the last couple of videos you've done Cantley and Sutton, both of which are places in Norfolk as well

That isn't called cantley park, the park is on the other side of Kirkhams land
It's Cantley Hall Park. A bit confusing having two areas with almost the same name
