    Absolutely and totally terrific! Thanks for going into so much detail; it really helps. I've been gathering materials for this project since I saw it in August on the Tim Holtz live, and now I can get started! (I have even rewatched the first two Pirates of the Caribbean movies in anticipation of your tutorial!) Thank you so, so much for sharing your ingenious creations.

    What a lovely way to start my day-watching this fabulous tutorial for your incredible make. You never fail to inspire me. You are quite simply the best. There is no way to adequately thank you for all the expertise you have shared over the years. I have replicated so many of your makes but still have dozens more in my wishlist. That cannon and cart are just genius and the prison cell with those chains and bones, the gates, sconce, and bricks, and the cannon ball to fix your mistake 😂😳. I could go on but would end up naming every part of the project. Wow. What an imagination! Wish Walt Disney could have seen your makes!

  • @elizabethkeeling-carreau1873

    This absolutely mind boggling! Your talent is out of this world and I love that you show us all of the steps and details so we can create our own 3-D scenes. I’m positive that both your cat X Atencio and the late X Atencio from Disney must be so proud of your creations! Do you dream Disney a lot as well? Thanks so much for sharing your talents with us. You are amazing. 🤗🇨🇦🤗

    This is SUCH an INCREDIBLE make Tami! What a labour of love hun! All your attention to detail, the grit paste mortar for the arch, the ring pulls for the chains! Oh my goodness, the canon! How you dreamt that into reality, all the little details that went into creating that, just SO inspired! I can't get over how you created the little canon holder too! The way you conceive the ideas from the elements you have, just so incredibly creative! I love the rusty treatment you've given the metals with the Distress Crayons too! The hole you plugged with the canon ball, genius! Each scene is a work of art in its own right, the canon scene, the gaol, the candle sconces, the extra hot glue drips on the candles! The little bottles, even those are embellished so perfectly. The double barrel bar is so awesome and the tavern sign! The treasure room with your coloured painting is amazing!! The aging and relicing you gave the crate is awesome! Sigh, the captain's quarters, the shattered windows, the box with the portrait, the broken mast and crows nest, the tumbleweed plants, the jolly roger strewn in there, the map in the gold frame and portrait in the captains room, I mean it's ALL so incredible! So incredibly cool to have this step through your creation, it really is the most special creation Tami! I'll for sure watch this over again to drink it all in even better! I've taken my time watching and absorbing your amazing process. Thanks for sharing your wonderful creative process with us all, you're so generous with your expertise and advice and this is a stunning creation! xoxo

    You truly are an artist. This is jut so absolutely incredible, I don’t have the words. Any of these individual scenes would have been impressive, but you put them all together and stuck a freakin’ cannon on top! So I will just say WOW WOW WOW! Thank you for taking the additional time during this incredibly busy time to record your creations. Truly, Tami, thank you.

    Haha, I was waiting for this one, thought for a couple of weeks.. "Tami put up the video, Tami put up the video, Tami you only have 150 projects, a home, job and family .. with endless hard deadlines.. put up the video..." (joke joke joke) I gave up, built this one last month, I'm mostly done but had to leave town for a month so it sits waiting. Took a bit to figure out the layout, I got the size of the jail wrong but was an easy enough fix. I used small wood dowels to make a spyglass and found a Cricut file for a treasure chest that I downsized, looked around and found some ideas for small wood crates to add ambiance. I copy a LOT of your projects.

    Absolutely amazing. Thank you for this in-depth tutorial. How do you determine how many tiny lights (strands) you need AND how many tiny lights (bulbs) you need for each vingette?

    • @Playswellwithpaper
      @Playswellwithpaper  Рік тому +1

      It’s completely arbitrary. But usually if there is one structure I stick to one strand of lights. If I have several structures and want it to be bright I make it two.
