Thumbs up, just curious what cards do u carry when you are traveling? And in ur opinion which is better amex travel portal or capital one travel portal?
Chase travel portal is the best because the points are worth more than 1 cent per point. For travel i switch it up, but always carry a card for lounge access like the Amex plat, gold for dining and then i make sure I have a visa or MC incase they dont take amex
AMEX has one points account for all your MR points credit/charge cards. There is no transferring. You can’t transfer from one AMEX account to another, I.e. your spouse’s account.
So yeah if you want to cancel the green you can open an everyday card account to preserve your points. Like the other person said, you don't need to transfer, it all pools together, once the everyday is open, you can cancel the green.
If you can’t get a retention offer on your Gold and don’t really value it as much anymore would you downgrade to the Green being you can’t get the SUB anyway? See some value in Green for transit.
I’ve had a Discover card for 2 years and a credit score in the 750’s. Just yesterday I got an Amex card for groceries. I’m also interested in getting a Citi card but I don’t want to apply for 2 cards in a short period of time if it will hurt my score. Should I wait for a while before applying for another card?
1. BCE for groceries and online purchases 2. WF autograph and Freedom Flex for dining 3. WF active cash for 2% cash back 4. Coastal FCU signature premier for 3x gas. If filling for my parents, Costco visa. 5. United Club Infinite card for this year for United travel. Will downgrade to the Explorer early next year 6. BCP (authorized user)
Pnc cash rewards visa 4% gas Amex gold 4x dining grocery Bbp business expenses Amex bcp for 6% streaming/occasional grocery Usbar catch all and 3x travel Apple Card just because
Not everyone can get it but ok bruh if you say so🤣🤣🤣. Oh and it’s a flex cause I’ll be in the lounge chilling while their are clearly tons of people not flexing while piled up around the gate👍🏽👍🏽
Best card.. if you don't use other x3 transportation catogory cards..

Can you transfer your Amex points to another Amex card with no annual fee??

I was at the Cambria Chelsea a couple of weeks ago. Nice hotel. So is the Moxy.

How much are you spending on transit to justify the Amex green
Just curious
@@robert8311 right now not too much, but when they implement congestion pricing in NY it may jump up to around $200 a month.
I have the chase freedom flex, taking advantage of 7% on restaurants and 5% on Amazon, ihg, choice privilege and American Airlines. Great video ❤

If you do any work from home or while you are at home, the 5% utilities on the Wyndham Business card is great.

I’ve almost maxed out the categories on the CFF. Another week or so.
The way I literally just downgraded my Platinum to a Green and am carrying the Freedom Flex for the exact same reason 😂😂😂

2. WF autograph and Freedom Flex for dining
3. WF active cash for 2% cash back
4. Coastal FCU signature premier for 3x gas. If filling for my parents, Costco visa.

Is your goal cash back? If so why the gold?
@@robert8311 I like to have a bit of both. Gold is my main spender so I accumulate about 80-90k Mr points a year
why is the platinum a flex card lol....anyone can get it
I think the $695 annual fee is why 😂
Required: $695, FICO of 700, a heartbeat
@@naveenthemachine i mean I pay more for my phone plan each year than that so...
