Shark Challenge with NFL Linebacker Sam Barrington - ft. Chew On This

- In this episode of BlacktipH, Josh and Capt. Ben Chancey from Chew On This challenge NFL star linebacker Sam Barrington from the Green Bay Packers to a shark fishing challenge. The challenge is for Sam to catch 12 sharks back to back. It didn't take long for us to see our first shark. After several sandbar sharks circled the boat, a group of big bull sharks emerged from the depths. Josh tossed a bonito out and within seconds Sam was hooked up on his first shark of the day. It was a long battle, but Sam prevailed and landed the beastly bull shark. After releasing the first shark it became very clear to all of us that the shark challenge was going to be very tough!

He's trying to portray just how hard fighting a shark is. This is a pro athlete and it's a challenge, but a scrawny guy like Josh fights these things as well.

Sam handled these sharks man.....he improved way more than the beginning.....its great to see someone moving up
It's amazing how much Sam improved his fighting technique since the first video.
you should do some different species. I mean I love your videos don't get me wrong but it seems like all I see is shark, grouper, snook. I would just like to see some new stuff....
We have a lot of new species coming up: tarpon, redfish, snappers, wahoo, and others.

Hey man would you be able to do a video over viewing all the rigs you use for different types/sizes of fish and different fishing types(Surf/Boat/Pier)? maybe even show some of the rods and poles you use. I know you already have some vids on this but an updated video all together would be awesome.
During the cooler months, you should fly up to montauk and fish for big striped bass. Great vid:)

Why are saltwater fish mostly bigger than freshwater fish? I know theres like 150 pound catfish.
There's more room to grow and there's a lot more food available in the ocean than in a lake or pond.

Size has got nothing to do with the fun of fishing. I've had some 10 pound saltwater fish fight harder than a 90lb catfish I caught in the James River. Have seen a 30lb looking Amberjack trying to be pulled in the boat take off and snap an extra heavy Okuma Makaira roller guide trolling rod.

you should try fishing for Speckled Sea Trout on the grass flats here in Seminole Florida. I caught my biggest trout which was 25" 5lb Speckled Sea Trout here in Seminole and many more here in Seminole. Me and my friend have a secret spot that you can catch trout,snook and redfish cast after cast🐟
you guys should also try out Sand Key Park in Belleair Florida there is snook, tarpon, sheepshead, any snapper, redfish, houndfish, Spanish mackerel, sharks, ladyfish and trout🐟
