Instant pot recipe - Spicy Galbi-jjim (braised beef short ribs)

    Ingredients: Beef ribs 2kg, soy sauce 180mL, red pepper powder 75g, minced garlic 75g, sugar 30g, oligosaccharide 20mL, sesame oil 15mL, pepper powder, dried chili peppers
    Today, I'd like to introduce you to a simple spicy braised short ribs that you can enjoy in hot summer. Let me introduce you to the recipe for the spicy braised short ribs in Dongin-dong, Daegu.
    01.
    First, cut the fat part of the ribs with scissors.
    If the meat is too thick, make a cut so that the sauce can soak in well. Then soak in cold water for more than 30 minutes to drain the blood. You can boil it once, but it’s spicy and only adults eat it, so I just drained the blood and cooked it right away.

    Make seasoning while draining blood. 180mL soy sauce, 75g red pepper powder, 30g minced garlic, 30g sugar, 20mL oligosaccharide, 15mL sesame oil, pepper powder.
    Seasonings taste better when the red pepper powder is fermented.

    Cut the onion into large pieces.

    Spread it in the pot.

    Put the ribs on top of it.

    Pour in the sauce, too.
    Add dried chili peppers as you like.

    Add only enough water to soak the ribs. I put in 800mL.

    Now, close the lid and start cooking with pressure cook for 13 minutes!

    When cooked, force the pressure out.

    Make sure the Float valve is down.

    Open the lid.

    I boiled the meat I was going to eat a little more in Saute. That way, the sauce will soak in well.
    The meat I picked up will be boiled down more when I eat it tomorrow. Otherwise, the meat will be crushed.
    13.
    Pour the soup into the finished Spicy Galbi-jjim.
    I added seasoned scallions to make it look delicious.
    As expected, if you cook it with an Instant pot, the bones are easily separated.
    Mix rice with spicy sauce and eat it with meat to relieve stress.
