13:03 this used to be one of my favorite stages as a child. Sonic traveling down the Great Wall of China is such a cool concept and one of the reasons I loved werehog night stages.

The map is definitely a feature that should have been included in the HD versions
This was the version I played back in 2010, I like it much more than the HD Version

Tbh Werehog is way more fun in the Wii/PS2 version.
All we need is a mod for this version that disables the Battle Theme, it's really annoying that the fire soundtrack gets interrupted all the time
I remember the Wii.
I'm one of the few who loved it and didn't mind the waggle controls.
I had Mario Galaxy 1 AND 2, Mario Wii, Mario All-Stars (Port), Sonic Unleashed, Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, SpongeBob Atlantis Squarepantis, Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics, Mario Party 8, and Ju-On The Grudge (Which was my mom's game)
Great video. I think the night levels are way better in the Wii version/Ps2 version, then the Ps3/Xbox 360 version. The Wii/Ps2 version's night levels are designed way better.
I agree, however graphically xbox is better, but levels are designed better in wii
The levels are definitely better in most cases. However, many of the night states seem to be very lacking of stuff. Holoska has a lot of running around without platforming or combat. I really wish there was a perfect mix of the level design.

@@Aldestructo true and the xbox version does have the united federation and mazuri day and night levels.but overall i think the wii version is better...with the exception of the pheonix boss
@@Adamlovesvideos Why the Phoenix boss? You don't have to deal with the constant respawning in the PS2 or the QTEs or even the long wait times for Water Barrels.

While I like both PS versions I prefer the PS2. There's more night stages the levels are easier and it's WAY easier to find the the hidden items. Not to mention the bosses are much easier to beat. The only real struggle in this version is acquiring all the medals. I'm proud to say though that I beat this version in full. The PS3 version? Not really....😅

The biggest distinction I can make between day and night levels is that the day levels are like traditional Sonic levels where the night levels are free roaming exploration based.
I remembered playing this on a ps2 when I was 10 around that time, but good old memories
I like the Xbox version but this stage was so much better in this version

The Wii version is better. The levels for both day and night are more fun, and the game is easier and not as unfair. The Xbox version has better graphics and lets you walk around the town. If they mixed the levels and difficulty from the wii but with the graphics and map of the xbox that would be the best version
@@lyraoctavia7518 You can actually see what's coming, and it it doesn't force in 3d platforming sections. That's just my opinion, though.

i played both HD and wii version and chun-nan night is much better on the wii. I died like 10 times in the HD one

There’s no fun in the HD version tho. Especially spagonia where you’re just dragged along the stage without control for a good small portion of Act 1.
