We have a cryogenics company near our home (freezing the departed & "storing" them in large cryopreservation tanks). They were in the news sometime back, because the state declared it illegal for them, to prepare the bodies (like a funeral home) and store them (like a final resting place AKA a cemetery). It was explained that Michigan's funeral laws don't allow businesses to have both. Kinda tricky, considering people choose that way, under the thought that, they expect to be revived in the future, when scientists figure that out. So they believe they aren't "really dead". Just in some frozen state of limbo. 🤔
