I bought the 160 not realising there was one higher in the range, but I'm glad I got the smaller one as it's lighter on the stairs and easier to move around upstairs, where there is less room because of the beds and furniture.
It seems every time I get a new vacuum cleaner or carpet washer, I visit this channel. I’ve just bought a compact Henry to keep in the garage to use on the cars. Should be excellent for that.
I got mine in 2004 and still going strong 17 years later.
Truly the AK 47 of cleaners!
how many watts it is?
@@TheNinjatsu it'll be 1100w because it's from 2004 although now they use just 620w
@@Mr_D2_1004N Thank you for your respond. I did buy the 620w 3 months ago and i really recommend it its absolutely worth it , although cleaning the bags when they full of dust is the only nasty part of it but its nice that they give extra free bag.
@@TheNinjatsu no worries mine don't use bags at the moment I need to buy some
@@Mr_D2_1004N I see thanks, good to know that 😁
I bought the compact Henry last week and I am really happy with the performance. As a Black Friday deal it came with a box of extra brushes and tools (worth around £40).I used Dyson before and different models of Shark, but never lasted longer than 2-3 years and warrantly does not cover that (brush damage, hose). Also I found out overtime the power of suction decreases.I read Henry reviews and my friend has a Hetty for many years, working as good as the first day.
I just got one on Monday and I love it.Best henry ever! Ive owned every single model and none can compare.
That cheers me up as I've just bought one.
this is a "kicking ass vacuum cleaner", I had the 9ml Numatic Henry vacuum cleaner, it was 9 years old, and I just gave it away to my builder (he was renovating my kitchen) so I gave him the Herny Numatic as I gained a new Henry 160 Numatic from my friend (brand new hoover still in the box) .......... and I tried the Henry 160 Numatic just 2 days ago ............ bloody hell!!!! the suction is so powerful that it was actually lifting the carpet ............. awesome machine, better than any of those fancy vacuum cleaners that cost double .............. this Henry 160 Numatic is a monster of hoover without a doubt.
Love the revolving (but probably dizzy) Henry at the start!
Great demo. I've been sceptical about getting the smaller model (which is now the "standard" Henry) but it looks like it will do the job, though I may add the turbo brush. Thanks for the tip about how to store an extra tool onboard!
Excellent demo and review! Ordered mine from AO today! Can't wait!
Just watched this review in morrisons cafe then went and bought the last one on the shelf. Plugged it in at work. ( i have a barbrshop) wow its great. Perfect for the nook n crannies i cant get at with sweeping up. And it sounds a lot quieter than on this video. Mine only came with one spare bag too. Very pleased with it though.
Thanks for this incredibly helpful video 👍👍 The compact Henry is ideal for a small apartment.
Great video as always thanks.
Perfect decision helper - gonna pick one up right now :D
Just for two bit information
About Numatics the first henry was made in 1981 and Numatic did make an upright in the 80s and 90s its was called the Numatic swift and the Numatic swift was a soft bag upright made by Numatic unfortuntly Numatic discontuied the swift hopefully they bring back an upright.
I’m going to recommend a Henry 160 to my grandparents as numatics are very good and they want something light weight

Stephen Cahill ??
LOVE LOVE LOVE the intro music !!!!!
I mostly used the James for cleaning the stairs and Henry for upstairs and Henry xtra for any job
I like Henry compact. I like that the suction valve is black and not red I just thought it looked odd.
I'm getting one for my birthday on the 30th june and I'm taking him on holiday with me to Butlins even tho got daily housekhousekeeping
The lightest ever made.
Really good video. Thank you
Ibaisaic I was wondering could u possibly tell me please does henry 160 fit standard size filter and bags ? I was thinking seen as the 160 is smaller do they take smaller size filter and bags if u could throw some light on subject please thanks
I just bought it this Numatic from Argos its just amazing vacuum cleaner £124
I brought a Henry 160 from argos yesterday and it doesn’t say Henry 160 on the front it just says Henry even though it’s Henry 160
I don't understand what the so-called filter basket inside the bag storage is used for, can you elaborate on that please? Thank you for sharing this video!
It holds the filter in place.
Good look on 28 thousand
I am finding it difficult to move the brush back and forth when vacuuming it won’t glide got it 3 days ago . Any tip please
Get the full sized turbo brush.
@@ibaisaic thank you
What's the music at the start please? Really bugging me!
You really like Henry
Very helpful. Thanks
I have like 10 Henry's and most are the 160 size
What was making Henry box turn at the start of the video??
Magic.
ibaisaic
Will there be a full demo on your Kirby?? (Generation 7 Diamond Edition)
That Kirby has featured in a few videos so no plans for any more for a while.
ibaisaic does it need a belt to run the motor? Just wondering.
sans comic The Kirby?
Yes, it quite definetly needs a belt for the brush.
Is the the Hoover zoom cordless on the menu. It’s a bit pricey. It it has a 7.5L bag so if it can easily clean under bed it would be highly excited to see it demoed
If I ever move to Australia I may, as it's not available in the UK. The Hoover brand in the UK, USA and Australia are completely different companies offering very different models. It is possible that the Zoom cordless will be made available in this country but probably under another brand like Vax or Oreck.
ibaisaic yes I looked up Hoover’s corporate governance, shocking.i ended up buying the Hoover zoom, so I may end up reviewing it for UA-cam, but it seems limited to Australia at the time of writing. I rather like it already.
My Henry xtra the wands ard fused together from Aydin thank you roger
Can you unbox the Numatic Henry whash them doing at Argos with the Numatic Henry reach
By the way, I only have my upholstry nozzle and that brush tool i forgot what its called but its a near 2011 Henry. :/
Hi can you tell me if the compact has less suction than the bigger one
I haven't noticed any difference.
my Henry 160-11 has failed burning smell and then went off. I yanked the cord to pull it out and maybe yanked it too hard. I wanted to take it apart but the screws are not phillips screws now but torq security screws and can't get the screws off. Anyone got any suggestions. The vaccum is only 2 years old if that. Lost now without my vaccum.
Buy a torx screw driver duh
Ive heard that the quality of Numatic is not as high as it was when it built its solid reputation. Motors burning out and plastics not as strong all since a director of Vax joined the firm. What would you say to this? Think of the compact yellow hetty for the garage and car cleaning
Quality has definitely gone downhill but they are better than most stuff made in China. The tools are worse, especially the new carpet/floor nozzle, but as they are a standard 32mm fitting, you can fit different tools. I am getting a 2006 Henry soon, so it will be interesting to compare it to a newer model.
Does the 160 take the same bags as the outer types like the 200 and can I put a turbo brush on it
Isaac Howard Yes and yes.
What is the best hard floor head to use?
I only have tile floors.
Do any of the Numatic tub cleaners have a special post-motor exhaust filtre? Perhaps a Hepa exhaust filtre? Or would that be considered overkill considering the large pre-motor filtre? What is the EU test rating for filtration for these cleaners?
I know it's an old comment but on the off chance you're still in the market for this, check out the Henry Allergy.
do you know them Henry Wash HVW 370
Yes.
Wow 2 henry Hoover’s cool
I like the spinning thing
So in fact the 160 is NOT the same as the larger Henry which has switchable wattage to adjust suction.
If you check Numatic's website, you will see ALL domestic mains powered Henry cleaners have a single speed motor. They removed the two speed option a while ago. This is also an old video and the current range has minor changes.
yaaaaas love the video
Are this bags biodegradable or compostable please
I would doubt that the genuine Numatic HEPA Flow bags are compostable as they are made of a fabric material and contain a plastic collar.
Ibaisaic can you unbox the Miele Compact C2 Total care but its not the other one with the electric powerhead. This one the Miele Compact C2 Total Care has a turbo brush
Where do you put all of these hoovers is the question!
Wait! I have the same sign as you
@@ThomasChannel-w4d yes lol
Hello Roger. Thank you for this video. I'm curious to know why the carpet rating has gone down to d from c. Apart from that, I find these cleaners are simple but effective and long lasting. I would always recommend investing in a turbo or airo brush though. Missed you lots.☺☺☺
Glyn Roberts if it’s gone from D to C rating, it’s gone up. A being the best.
cool vacuum cleaner
Where do you purchase hepoflo bags for Henry 160 from??
I see him before at Tesco
Hi there mate you hove a good day mate you like all of you videos
If I had one,I would buy a batter floor nozzle
Them doing the Numatic Henry wet/dry
The full sized henry and hetty might be discontinued and the compact versions might replace the full sized ones.
got one today
I prefer the 200 size there are classic 39 year old size
I agree I prefer the original 1200w hvr200-22
I got the normal hetty is het 200
I'm really disappointed with my Henry. Paid £125 and the suction is really weak.
Take it back! The top half wasn't on properly'. Wow, that is much better! I'm really pleased with it now.
If anything, it's too powerful now. I wish I had the two speed model.
I was surprised to read your first comment, but pleased to hear that you sorted the problem.
You said .co.uk for the store websites, I use .ie so confusing!
dont go to the link that i made by acident
Used your link and now got a virus 🤬 thanks a lot
i have a hoover called henry 200
Do you know Numatic hetty pet at Argos
Yes, I saw it online yesterday.
The Hetty pet is exactly the same as the henry pet but pink and it says Hetty on the front and it has eyelashes but works the same as Henry pet.
+ibaisaic If you use the Pro kit with the Henry 160, you might have the ultimate Henry! Small, Good for carpets, upholstery, hard floors.
I have the new pro kit, but I wanted the new design turbo head and it came with the old one.
ibaisaic Yeah I've seen as Vacuum Mad 8s one came with the old
ibaisaic After watching your excellent video of the Henry Xtra I'm going to buy one but would prefer the new turbo brush as it might posssibly have a parking bracket on it hopefully. Have you heard anything about when it might be available and if it will have a parking bracket? Thank you.
🎉
Ibasiac can you please send me a Henry Vacuume i can pay you
full size henry has been discontinued
thehooverguy101 rip Henry....
thehooverguy101 you copied my comment. my comment I said the full sized henry is discontinued and the compact models replaced them.
lol didn't see yours sorry
thehooverguy101 its ok I dont mind anymore.
Full size Henrys are now under the name "Henry 200"
So he’s in the new EU rules
Hi mate you or u ok there

Bc
You're right. I will have a big bonfire soon.
T yo
My Henry is getting kicked out. My Shark is arriving tomorrow:)
I feel sorry for you. Are you ready for a noisy, flimsy vacuums that clogs every five minutes?
hoover master it arrived.. it certainly doesn't feel flimsy and it's done a better job than my Henry..
Susan Shaw can you sell your henry on ebay so I can buy it.
hoover master it will last more than half the lifetime of a henry
@@tylertrigger7909 I think you got that the wrong way around...
[insert obligatory "i hate unboxing videos" comment here]
Don't worry, I'm not planning on buying any more new vacuums for a while, but there is a huge backlog of unboxings yet to show. Next week I will start making demo videos and then I can get rid of loads of these bloody vacuum cleaners.
lol I was just being sarcastic about that one guy that complained on your last videos.
My channel has been a bit unboxing heavy and I have plans to redress the balance, but not on Friday as that's another unboxing.
Hi there you or u ok mate I am Tok to Dorian mate he good mate I hop you u u roger see Greg here I Ben dong you u a shout to you u mate I hop you or u ok mate I
