I heard about Ohtani 2 years before he came to the Angels and with all the hype that came with him I’m honestly blown away by how good Ohtani really is!! During spring training it was looking like he wasn’t going to be able to handle Big League pitching! I even heard one analyst say that Ohtani wasn’t even a good enough hitter to start in Single A ball!! But WoW!! He is an incredible hitter!

Just need some pitching next year and they should be in the playoff hunt if trout and othani stay healthy.
I like Otani hitting after trout. Trout's numbers should be even farther off the charts with that lineup.
His numbers would be insane this year if he wasn't plagued with injuries. Really looking forward to what he'll do next year, let's just hope he stays healthy. He might even give trout a run for his money.
Well the Angles need another pitcher I knew the Angels would be good of Otani was pitching but I feard that Tommy John was going to happen and the Angles feared to much.
It seems like every great pitcher has to get tommy John, it's just a fact of the game now.

Ohtani might be more valuable as a Relief Pitcher. Could still play everyday with that superior bat and speed, and that fastball/split combo could shut down many a rally. Thoughts?

@@jeedoe9214 Well Muiky High School is coming to an end and Sawama is still in his second year. I think Muiky will go pro he hasnt shown any intress in other things same goes for Kumarochi.

Yeah, I went to CSUF, which is known to have one of the best baseball programs in the country. Guess what? Never seen a single player that could throw 100mph, while swinging for power. You say you have friends who can do this. Please name them. They could be considered one of the best prospects in the country. Don't keep them down by not revealing their names. What kind of a friend are you? You should be promoting them instead. Seriously, I would like to know of another player who can throw 100mph, throw a nasty splitter, and hit for power. Not since Babe Ruth have we seen something like this, but it's all hype though... With your name friends.
