I've been listening to good gospel music all my life. This is the kind of music I was raised on. My mother couldn't read a stitch of music, but she could listen to a song like this for a couple of times and start playing it on the piano and be able to sing along with the soloist in the melody or the alto part with no problem at all. Her brother could play the guitar and he did it all by ear also. My mother developed althzeimers and later on in life didn't even know who I was. My brother, my son, and nephew would go to the nursing home and sing a few old gospel songs as the one and only Merle Haggard would say. I remember my mom would start making the motions as if she was playing the piano and would start harmonizing with us. These are memories that time and death cannot erase.
I love listening and watching Donnie Sumner. He communicates the message of the lyrics well and you will know why once you watch his testimony. He is so sincere in his delivery that I cannot get enough.

The song The Anchor Holds has an edited version that was done in German. This is actually the original verse of The Anchor Holds. The song was written in 1986. I had given birth to a son whom Edward and I intended to name Henry Edward. He hadn't been christened yet. The night the palace was broken into and Prince Harry was kidnapped, our newborn son was also taken. Harry was found but our son wasn't. After we discovered our son had also been kidnapped we sat down and wrote The Anchor Holds in German. Our son never was found. The next day, Prince Phillip told me I had to leave the Castle. We were later told our son's body was found in the Thymes River just upstream from Cambridge. The agony of losing a precious child is extreme.

The song The Anchor Holds has an edited version that was done in German. This is actually the original verse of The Anchor Holds. The song was written in 1986. I had given birth to a son whom Edward and I intended to name Henry Edward. He hadn't been christened yet. The night the palace was broken into and Prince Harry was kidnapped, our newborn son was also taken. Harry was found but our son wasn't. After we discovered our son had also been kidnapped we sat down and wrote The Anchor Holds in German. Our son never was found. The next day, Prince Phillip told me I had to leave the Castle. We were later told our son's body was found in the Thymes River just upstream from Cambridge. The agony of losing a precious child is extreme.

Oh Lord... This made me cry... uncontrollably...I have a friend who means the world to me... I think about her life... and I think about mine... I know how her life has been... from the time she was a little girl... I don't ask for anyone to pray for me, but I do ask that you pray for Becky... All her life (59 years) she has known abuse and neglect from so many people... including her family... She was made to feel unworthy, unloved, unimportant, invisible, of no value... That has been such a heavy burden for her... I try to encourage and remind her that she is enough... enough... I've told her that my friendship is forever... That I would turn my back on her and break my promise to her... I've prayed with her and for her and reminded her that even if she had been the only one in the world... he would have died her... I have prayer circles, but no one ever has too many prayers offered up for them... So I ask you please... pray for Becky... that she can know peace in her soul and her life... and put all her trust in Jesus... her anchor... because in him all the bad things she has known... don't exist...

This song has a special meaning to me. One of my brothers food on 2020,pm died on 2021. Then my hip went bad in March of 2022, then in September of 2022 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Now it’s looking like the cancer is back, and this song helped get me through
