Time is the music of life: 4 musical chords, one for each season, are repeated for 4 minutes. The music starts slowly, as life does, then it grows, many voices slit the silence as one. The old violins talk to the young electronic instruments, the percussions are always present, reflecting the time flow. At the end all the voices disappear, as our dreams will do, leaving a tremendous empty space that we fill with regrets, thoughts.
I think you opened my eyes on something I’ve been having a hard time with. Time. Im obsessed with it but not in a good way and this perfectly describes it.
I am a 34 year old man riddled with chronic pain..I lie down in my dark bedroom and when I hear this in my ears I feel like I can stand STRONG and take off like a rocket to the moon! this is the real deal..THIS IS WHAT OUR EARS WERE INVENTED FOR THIS IS MUSIC...UPLIFTING, DEVASTATINGLY POWERFUL, INSPIRING, HOPEFUL, EMOTIONAL, SAD. A TRUE STIR OF THE HUMAN EMOTION. BRINGS A GROWN MAN TO TEARS BUT IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. this piece reminds me of my grandfather. such a quiet humble genuine gentle man but as strong as granite at the same time. this is what music should do to you when you listen with your heart....stir the emotions. peace everyone❤
this also reminded me of my grandpa. He's been dead for 15 years. I have only seen him when I was a little baby. I got told, that he loved me very much, told me tales and lullabys. But then, he died in a car accident. This song stirred my emotions so much first time in the past 2 years. Writing this, i just broke down crying of the sound and the memories..

Abe 10Alpha what instruments are used to make rap? The guitar? The piano? The drums? This question is rhetorical of course because rap doesn’t use any instruments and music made without instruments is not music at all, it’s noise.
@preethamchandrashekar I think you haven't experienced a lot of art already. Dance of the maidens from Borodin, Bolero, On the hills of manchuria, Hungarian dance nr. 5 from Brahms, Requiem for a dream, Vampire Waltz and many more. They are all great music pieces! And we haven't spoken about plays, books, ballets, paintings and thousands of other art forms jet.
There are very few perfect combinations of directors and componists, like Spielberg and John Williams, Sergio Leone and Ennio Morricone, or even Peter Jackson and Howard shore. After seeing Inception and Interstellar, i'd say Nolan and Zimmer are amongst them.
Every time I have anxiety, I’m angry, I need to cool off, I go to this song. This song makes me feel amazing - it refreshes me, Hans zimmer is a genius.
I love how the music starts out simple then slowly adds more and more layers until you've lost count and are stuck in limbo... then suddenly its all taken away and we're left with the simple chords on the piano and we've lost track of whats real
@@HIGHRISESOCIETY1 everything is easy bro...its rare to find a melody like this...its simple but good...a lot of people have tried to create pieces like this on youtube...but they are alright and not as efficient...if it was easy everyone would be a musician...
Yeah. I'm really at a crossing right now. Idk why sadish/empowering instrumentals trigger my vulnerability. Walls come down in a way that silence sometimes doesn't reflect..... despite being an avenue just as vital and equally important as silence.
Time is what we want most but what we use worst. Don’t wait for that perfect moment, just go for it! It’s better to try and fail than to never try at all.
I feel the same... Maybe is because there is some sad tone in the music, so quiet but quiet with agony and hopeless that turn into light when the music rise... A constant change between light and dark... At least that's how I feel it...
This music realy touches the deepest part in us and therewith our deepest emotions. Luck, happiness, fear, doubts... When you allow this deepest part of you to be there and to be seen, you can have a enormous feeling of vulnerability. This is truly you and any hurt to this is so painful, that most people rather live in a blind world where they hide from themselves. But the pain from that is bigger rhan any pain you could get from showing your true self. I can tell you: You are more beautiful, more wonderful, greater and more unique than you can imagine. You are part of this world. And though you are one of 8 billion people there will never be someone like you. Not just by your behaviour and all, but by the mind, the deepest part pf you.
Inception, Interstellar, The Dark Knight Trilogy, The Last Samurai, Black Hawk Down, Gladiator, Kung Fu Panda, Rango, Megamind, Spirit Stallion Of The Cimarron, Crimson Tide, The Lion King, Dunkirk, Blade Runner 2049, Pirates of The Caribbean, Man of Steel, Rush, and the Rock. We are lucky to be around to witness this incredible man. I saw this film last year. For the first time in IMAX. As part of it's anniversary release. It was an experience I'll never forget.
This song is probably one of the best musical pieces of all time. I mean, most of it is so simple, but still, hauntingly beautiful. It has so much meaning, but at the same time, it can have no meaning at all. Do you agree?
If you realize the whole universe is virtually made from sound/vibration then it makes perfect sense why music is intrinsically linked to subconscious emotion.
Hans Zimmer in a nutshell: No oscar for TDK No oscar for Inception No oscar for Interstellar No oscar for Dunkirk No oscar for Gladiator And so on Oscars are unworthy of Hans Zimmer
That electric guitar coming in halfway through the track is so perfect. Its like a perfect medley of classical/existential music, paired with a modern touch to make it feel more relatable in a way. My favourite part of the soundtrack.

Watching them again while high really let’s you experience them again in a whole new way. Would really recommend you to rewatch interstellar while being high in the future.
Well, until the flawed Interstellar and the mediocre Dunkirk. Inception is his best work, closely followed by The Prestige and Memento. Interstellar was already a big step down and his flawless reputation took a few hits.
You know, a comment like that is certainly agreed upon. He is a genius when it comes to composing and bringing music to life....this IS moving, not from, what we call normalcy.
I think that might just be the most incredible piece of music ever created. It never fails to bring a tear to my eye. It's as if Hans Zimmer wrote an entirely new language. A thematic lullaby for the ages.
He goes through extreme lengths to do it. The joker theme is a good example. He thought it out well, only used two notes C and D and played it on a violin with a razor.
This song should be called Hans Zimmer plagiarizing his own soundtrack from Pearl Harbour and get a 100,000,000 views from dumb pretentious pricks who think they have classy taste in music XD
The soundtracks of Interstellar, the Dark Knight Trilogy, Inception, Dunkirk, Top Gun Maverick and many more were excellent, Hans Zimmer truly is the best composer ever❤

Some people don't like deep music for me it gives meaning to life that there's more than just what this world has to offer
Is there anyone else who realised that this song is near to 60BPM which means one beat per second. So it’s exactly the rhythm of a clock. And I’m sure I don’t need to explain the connection between the title and a clock ;).
@@Thee_Attic bpm(beats per minute) is the amount of heartbeats you got in a minute. This is a metric that musicians use in order to measure the rhythm on a song. The fact that this theme (which name is Time) gets the 60bpm is a matter of how connected is the theme along with the song and the movie. If you haven't watched Inception, the main topic is dreams+time. So, getting 60bpm on a song called Time, which is the theme from a movie which talks about time, is a gorgeous pattern about Zimmer and Nolan, the composer of the song and the director of the movie specifically. Hope this works:)
@@kyyy8821 One other thing I'd add is that the song begins kind of muddled (like youth learning about the world and how everything works) and then becomes clear (like an adult that has figured life out) and ends softly, distinctly, and clearly (old age losing strength but not wisdom).
This is in my opinion the most meaningfull music piece in the history of human kind. It is like if the concept of life was a song. It starts slow, like when we were kids with no responsibilities. Then, it gradually becomes more intense, and then at the end it dies off... just like life.

Is there anyone else who realised that this song is near to 60BPM which means one beat per second. So it’s exactly the rhythm of a clock. And I’m sure I don’t need to explain the connection between the title and a clock ;).
Please explain I don't get it !

Well noticed to make the connection 👏🏿
The song basically mirrors life in a nutshell: Starts slowly (youth), builds to a crescendo (prime), and then ends softly and quietly (old age).
While repeating the same 4 chords (seasons) over and over.
damn
Fuck!
Get what ur saying but that's almost like every song lol
@@kyyy8821 One other thing I'd add is that the song begins kind of muddled (like youth learning about the world and how everything works) and then becomes clear (like an adult that has figured life out) and ends softly, distinctly, and clearly (old age losing strength but not wisdom).
This is in my opinion the most meaningfull music piece in the history of human kind. It is like if the concept of life was a song. It starts slow, like when we were kids with no responsibilities. Then, it gradually becomes more intense, and then at the end it dies off... just like life.
