Might be just me but when learning a new song it always help to hear the song played first. Makes it easier to see what chords are involved and when they change.. kinda lost on this one to be quite honest.. like the dog.
Thanks for this lesson. My buddy was part of the road crew for the Allmans so i used to go backstage and stuff. All these songs are real personal to me. The cool part of this song is how the chord tone kinda switched between D and Dminor at certain parts of the song.
My cousin who plays very very well has restrung and turned my acoustic into a semi acoustic and sorted me a amp too ,as I type he is bringing me it back and I’m going to spend my evening following some off your lessons…. Looking forward to that very much…… thankyou for your very detailed lessons mr guitar man 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I agree about the Eagles but I think Lynyrd Skynyrd is just as good. They both are in the top three best classic rock guitar solos of all time IMHO! Love Skynyrd because how they blend three guitars together and it doesn’t sound to busy or forced. As much as I love Hotel California I’d give the slight edge to Free Bird because that song is just supernatural. If LS was a (99) I’m giving the Eagles a (98), so it’s literally a one point difference. Also would give Stairway to Heaven a 97. But you could move any of those solos in any order and I’d agree with you
be sure and check out this lesson on 4 amazing rock songs to play on acoustic guitar:ua-cam.com/video/7FurwLN6Hmc/v-deo.html

This only resonates with me with the drop D tuning. I appreciate you might have wanted to keep it simple for beginners.
You got it :)
I will try it Kevin

Could you do Soulshine please? I've got a decent amount figured out, by ear and before computer, and I'd really appreciate the help.

Thanks!

I don't know what a bar chord or a power chord is,, I've tried to do them somehow I can't do that. But you have taught me a lot of other songs,
