No joke, Maguire is the embodiment of what you don't want to see in a CB, let alone in a footballer. Tortoise-like footwork, clumsy in possession, abysmal positioning sense, plays every opponent onside, poor passing ability, always the slowest to react to surroundings on the pitch, frequently gets in the way of his teammates and even scores own goals every once in a while.
Why is he still on the starting lineup? Is it price tag? Why not play Varane and Lindelof?
