Let it not be lost on anyone that the Texas police who stood outside of the school for over an hour while children were being murdered, were not afraid of the teenager, they were afraid of his gun.

Whenever an evil person murders innocent people with a firearm, lawful gun owners are expected to acquiesce to all of the "reasonable" gun control demands. Those demands continuously change!
How does "reasonable gun control" stop an evil person who is fostering homicidal intentions, who has no criminal or mental history, from legally purchasing a firearm, and doesn't make those intentions known until he is shooting people? There is no amount of offense that would prevent this. Sometimes the best offense is a good defense. We protect the President of the United States, one man... with people armed with fully automatic machine guns. Yet we protect our kids in school with vinyl signs that say No Guns Allowed, and maybe.....MAYBE a SRO (school resource officer).
It takes an IMMEDIATE armed counter response to prevent loss of life. The duration of any mass shooting is solely dependent on how fast an armed counter response can get bullets into the shooter the second his intentions are made known. This is NOT achieved by police 4-7 minutes away after the first 911 call is made. Nor is it achieve by police officers waiting outside (if that is what happened).

We need security at every school with guns . Bad guys will always get guns . Will we have the ability to stop the next time something like this happens

When the violence comes to your front door you’ll wish you had more then golf clubs. Criminals don’t obey laws people! Geez the logic here is crazy. What stops bad guys with guns ? Good guys with guns! Police arrive after an incident. We are responsible for our own safety nobody else.
Stuff the 2nd Amendment: it's an anachronism and centuries out of date. Will guns stop modern tanks, missiles or war planes? No. Of all the physical confrontations or arguments that went to court in the USA since 1968 those involving guns used in self-defence were less than one per cent of cases so guns ain't used in self defence. Why arm teachers when armed Texan police don't use their guns to prevent an ongoing massacre?
Next, USA gun usage statistics are appalling:
1. With only four per cent of the world’s population the USA has almost half of the world’s registered civilian firearms.
2. Forty per cent of homes in the USA have a gun and there are now more guns in the USA (400 million) than people (320 million).
3. The USA is number one in the world in terms of gun deaths of about 40,000 per annum half of which are murders.
4. The USA has more deaths caused by gun fire than the combined deaths of the next 23 countries ranked highest in the gun death charts.
5. More USA civilians (1.5 million) have been killed by guns since 1968 than the total number of US soldiers killed in every military conflict since the American War of Independence.
So what are guns for? Absolutely nothing apart from slaughtering kids or animals or for use in criminal activity. May God bless America, reluctantly including those insane enough to support its gun laws.
Yeah we need the government to make a change but also us as humans need to spears live and be kind to one another as GOD and Jesus said to love by neighbor and love one another. We need more of GOD to make our hearts of stone into a new one of flesh. May GOD bless each of us and protect us.
