Here's a tip! If you want to portray that you regret that you did something or that you did something by accident, you can use ちゃう form (or ちゃった for past tense, for rhyming purposes)! Take the past tense plain form of a verb (なくさない) and then delete "ない" to use ちゃう form. お金をなくした (okane o nakushita) is grammatically correct, but it may feel kind of flat emotionally お金をなくさちゃった (okane o nakusachatta) is like "aw man, I lost my money 😔😔😔" while the other just sounds like you're stating a fact Commenting this because my autistic ass just really enjoys talking about the Japanese language and not because I'm trying to like,,, insult or be mean or anything like that!
