How to remove wet sounds Rev-8, Rev-10 tower speakers that won’t come out

After watching multiple videos of people rambling and never getting to the point of removing Rev-8 or Rev-10 speakers (that were stuck) from the torpedo can housing and getting no where…. I figured it out
Here’s a cut and dry explanation if you have blown speakers that seem like they’re welded in the speaker housing and just don’t want to come out.

I couldn't bring myself to use the rubber mallet, albeit likely nothing would happen...instead I used my palm lightly around the can. That combined with a 90 degree pick to help with concentrated pulling at points worked great. Fantastic video, same questions anyone would have finding the "separating point" and what should I be trying to free from what! Well done.👍

Where did you find a replacement speaker? I've looked on wet sounds site and I can't find a replacement speaker. And direction is appreciated!
