solo un verdadero maestro puede rendir el trabajo de otro verdadero maestro con este tipo de excelencia ... contento de haberlo encontrado señor gracias.
Heartily Appreciate Mr Hale and your Tabla Player. Very well done. Kudos to your efforts. Myself a thorough admirer of Retro music. Don't understand how few people on social media Click a Thumbs Down button to such a great job.
One voice, 2 instruments and what a gem! Thoroughly enjoyed it for its subtle performance. As we say, you sang it from the heart! And the dedication to your parents is really inspiring. May we all experience such love :)
Loved the singing and guitar Chris. Inspired. Is it possible for you to break down the chords so beginners can make an attempt? And please upload more of your performances. Loving it.
have you seen my Kabhi Kabhie? For the chords, i have a capo at third fret, and I drop the low E string to the D note. So when the capo is on, it is the Key of F. But I play the D shape chord to get F. The other chord shapes are C and G. It's pretty simple. The challenging part was learning the interlude melodies in Rupak Tal (seven beats)
Thank you. I will try this.. Kabhi kabhi too, yes.. I had seen it earlier. I love the feel you bring in a language that you are quite unfamiliar to, with your voice. Waiting for your next uploads.
Kudos to your attempt and dedication towards Indian music :-) Just one feedback. I found the tempo to too fast for this song. The beauty of this song is in the thehrav (the pause). But I guess you would have done a much better job in a calmer environment.
This sounds excellent. I like the guitar parts. Very cool. I also play guitar and live in Brampton Ontario. I would love to jam with you. Your fusion really rocks though!
Truly amazing.. U have developed a Hindi accent.. The song has come perfect. If the Mohd. Rafi ji and the composer were alive, they would have felt so happy to listen u guys.. kudos
Wow! Awesome!! 👌 I just searched the song and found your video, thought would give a look before hearing the original and I didn't disappoint. 👏👏 Kudos to you and your team, mate! Love your pronunciation too. It's perfect!! You have just earned a subscriber.
Chris, a friend of mine forwarded this link to me. We both are die hard fans of SD Burman and his son RD. Since he thought I would like it, it had passed the litmus test already. You rendered it quite well. Considering there are many syllables that are tough for western world (That is, 'Bha' in 'Bhatakte Hein tere hi naina' ) were perfect and shows your dedication to master another form of music. Being myself a an musician, it was amazing to see this song being performed by a westerner just on tabla and guitar and make impact at the end. Absolutely wonderful !! Ed is very cool on Tabla. Keep it up Bro !!
You guys are both exceptionally gifted, and you, Chris, are awesome in not only playing the instruments and singing beautifully, you show absolutely no trace of a Western accent in rendering a Hindi song. Bravo! If you were born or raised in northern India like Tom Alter, it would be natural to have no such barrier to transcend, of course. All the best to you and Ed.
Indian songs are heartily fascinated by foreign voices, I salute the artist।
Tabla dude killed it. Awesome

Wonderful! Awesome! Love u Brother! ✌✌✌🙏🙏🙏.
Praise the Lord brother Chris
Great
