The nostalgia is painful. This game was so important to me growing up. I was completely engrossed in the story, the battle mechanics, the world, all of it. It was really a happy childhood growing up playing this.
I was 14, living in Gainesville, FL when hurricane Charley hit. While going out and getting supplies and essentials before it hit, we stopped at a game store. I picked this! The power was out for 2 weeks. School was cancelled. Aside from playing board games with my folks, cooking everything perishable with neighbors and the high humidity in the dark, I was determined to beat this game! Thanks for the video and the memories.

Although I did not understand much English at that time which was a struggle that I don’t not remember if I was able to finish the game or not despite it, but the whole experience of the game was so much more with a child imagination. How innocent and eager childhood can make you, I remember wishing you can actually do this in real life, full of imagination, bravery and energy. When I became mid twenty, I started watching seconds of the video every year, to feel the overwhelming energy an adult is doomed to stop feeling.

They should make a Megaman Battle Network Legacy Collection also. I mean they made 2 Megaman, and 2 Megaman X legacies so make a battle network one also!

Sigh. 2001. It was the Spring. I was 17 and I can still remember lying down on my bed face down playing this on my atomic purple GBA as I was propped up on my elbows. I still remember the lighting in the room, and the smell of not only the room, but the time. I had all of the time in the world to kill. The game felt so fun and new and sophisticated because you had email to check in the game lol smh. The music is just pure childhood. We really are time's prisoners.
BRO i used to love these games back in elementary n middle school but i never played the first ones i started on blue moon n red sun , freakin classics nd these were sometimes really difficult might just play em all from the start !
Just watched the entire thing. The game was magnificent, although it was a bit... Shorter than what I expected. Of couse, the gameplay itself is massive, but without the grinding it'd be a good 30%, maybe 40% shorter. Still an awesome game and the best walkthrough I have ever seen of it. My kudos!
This Game Series from 1 - 6 is AMAZING! I'm surprised it's so underrated.... If you people loved the blue bomber, X & Legends series.... you'll love this one!! Is Hella badass!! I recently got all 6 games on retroarch and I cannot stop playing them! GREAT GAME, GRATE STORY, BADASS CHARACTERS, ETC

I would pay $60 for a PC release. This type of game in an mmorpg setting with a pvp/pve element would be fantastic
