Ive heard great things about hooked on phonics. Phonemic awareness is super important, so it's definitely good to incorporate it. It will also make spelling easier to grasp later on too.
We are starting the MBTP 5-7 next week! I’m excited for it. My son is 5 1/2 so I think he’s ready. Can’t wait to to see how it goes for you and your son!

Would love if you could do a video of Little House in The Big Woods! I planned on reading that book, to my 3 kids during morning time. Totally forgot about moving beyond the page. Wondering if my 7 year with my help could do this with her 9 year old brother. 2nd year homeschooling, this year I want to really incorporate reading. Just browsed their page, not sure if I'm ready to commit to a whole package🤔 Do you know of any places just to buy individual units?

We are not using IEW this year. Every Language Arts unit from Moving Beyond the Page has a writing element so I feel like that is enough.
Yes! I have 7 and when one gets sick it’s going to be 2 months of sickness.
