410 RGB LED Matrix & ESP32: Power delivery and testing

- INFO:
Previously, I connected an ESP32 to my matrix and learned how to drive the LEDs. This time I'm correcting the power delivery so the matrix would shine as bright as a diamond.

In the video where you are using your breadboard, you have three wires hooked up to the ESP32 Dev Board. But in the schematic illustrated at 2:22 you have 4.
Which pin on the ESP32 board do you hook up the yellow lead that runs from the switch?
The initial colour test was done without the button. If you want to add a physical controller you will need an extra pin (or more) to map your input It was mapped to pin2 if I can trust my memory. I will have an article about building the panel soon as I came back to this project recently
Hi!
Can i do this but with 2 LED matrices more using the same circuit.. i mean connected to different pins?
Thanks for the video.
Yes you can this is all driven by a single wire per strip
Hey, when will you add part 2 :p I am waiting already 2 years .
the time flies and I got distracted hah sorry :D
@@notenoughtech No problem, thank you for actually answering my question ;) and keep up the good work with your channel!
I have a very cool use for LED matrix but I need the lockdown to end so I can work on it
What soldering iron do you use?

Cool.....
Reminds me local Colorado marijuana growers making their own grow lights from Cree leds......
+Scar Hole haha that's one use of it! Never thought of that one :)
