I had to use this Aircraft for a decal challenge and it quickly became my go to with its Air Target belts plus the 37mm Frag shell making it a good Aircraft killer
Since my Italian air tech tree isn’t super ground out, I usually take this thing up to 5.7, and, I mean, if there’s AA up, you’re dead, obviously, but it still shreds stuff like Panthers

For that matter, I've seen "Pz.IV G" in battles with BR 8.0 but it would never occur to me to say that "Pz.IV G" needs to be nerfed at a BR of 8.0

Anything Italian with the .50s is a monster now. Since you did the fc20 you should go lower and try out the breda 88 with it's 3 .50s and 3 single drop 100kg bombs it's a monster and has a beautiful camo 🤌🤌🤌🤌
Italian .50 cals are busted, and have you seen the SM.91 and 92? The 91 has 6 front facing 20mm 151s and a 151 turret, and the 92 has 3 151s and 3 .50cals, plus a 13mm turret

I absolutely love this thing. It's not my favorite CAS plane in low-tier, but that cannon is extremely satisfying. Flight performance is what kills it for me, I much prefer stuff like the IL-2 or American fighter-bombers, and heavy fighters like the Bf 110. This one feels like an Italian Hs 129, and it's definitely still very fun.
The german Bf 110 with the 37mm Autocannon is kinda like this plane at 3.7BR. Twin MK108s in the nose can evaporate light vehicles even with a near miss and the 37mm can pen a kv-1 from the front.
bring some love to Italy 5.0 with the G.55 Serie 1, its actually somehow very enjoyable, albeit expensive. Its got 3 MG151s and 2 12.7s, and pairs nicely with the M4 Firefly in the Italian tree, which gets APDS.
@@_Vesper He's probably referring to the Ki-109, which has a 75mm AP ammo belt. It has a slower RoF but really good flight characteristics. Also the Ki-102 otsu should have access to an 57mm AP & HEAT round as its quite litterally a tank cannon, that's already in used in Ground Forces. But Gajin refuses to add them.

Hi OddBawZ , if you like big guns CAS you'll love the IL-2-37. I've been using it lately and it's a blast. The twin 37mm on that thing is insane and can kill both planes and tanks with equal ease.

Some folks really have a shyte attitude towards team games. Pushing team mates into the line of fire. Team kills. Really detracts from how enjoyable things can be when they could be so great and inclusive. Targeted team kills should really be a bit more harshly dealt with than they are. Awesome flying and CAS Odd. Damn impressive as always. I really have to muck about with my plane controls and get some practice in. Easy to see how useful a good CAS player can be.

Ya you gotta use keys to fly. Expecially if you are looking behind you. It becomes 100% nececary in higher BRs to deal with air to air missiles aswell.
Can someone tell me how can he drive his plane while free looking is he using a joy stick or something? By free looking i mean the [C] key that lets you look around while not moving where your going
Really think they should disable friendly fire even in realistic. I get that it's supposed to increase immersion and make you a little more cautious but it's also not "realistic" for your team mates to start gunning you down because they got salty over something. Does more harm than good really.
It was made equally for the demoralizing of the enemy due to how devastating it is to anything on the ground and constant ground force harassment so the enemy doesn't feel safe anywhere. Easier to annihilate a fearful unfocused enemy.
You should use the SM.91 (3.7), it's bomb placement is garbage but the 6 20mms can easily deal with tanks with top down attacks, I use it in 5.7 games and can easily kill M4s, Panthers, Tigers
I wonder how dangerous this will make other low tier Italian fighters in AirRB or just cleaning out enemy CAS? I was looking at the difference in quality of the 2.7 range Italian tanks to everyone else’s earlier, and wow do they stink. But if you are just scouting or using a TD to get the plane out maybe it’s not so bad?
Gaijin should kick & block players if they constantly shoot team-mates. It is not "that" difficult to detect. The guy in the first game killed Boz just because Boz was a better player and getting all the SL/RP. What a shame!
@@hawkertyphoon6590 1. Incompetence and ignorance is not an excuse of punishment. He should have been punished. 2. I don't believe his excuse of "I didn't know" for 1 second. In ground RB, it is blatantly obvious who is the enemy and who is an ally. Especially in the air. There are bloody BLUE markings everywhere. 3. Those shots are way too accurate for a newbie who is playing his first matches, especially in an air battle! If he has a UA-cam channel, he did it for lolz and giggles, which I understand, it is fine for his content but he still should have been banned for a week for so!
Just make sure you aren't going too fast before starting an attack run. Also make sure to pull off after a couple of shots and don't get too fixated on your targets. Another good way to get a lot of practice with planes you are struggling with is to create a custom match against bots. You can take your plane out straight away and get unlimited respawns, so you can keep practicing as long as you want to. Odd has a great video called "HOW TO CLOSE AIR SUPPORT IN WAR THUNDER" It's a great video and worth checking out.
Odd, I did a search and it looks like you don't have any videos of you flying the US A-26 invader. I don't know if they've changed it over the years but it used to be pretty decent at 5.0. If you want to punish yourself you can take out the M42 also, because I don't think you did a video on that hunk of crap.... You should have a million Subs already.

There’s a twin engine interceptor in the Japanese tech tree that has a similar cannon. It’s not amazing, but it’s pretty fun.
If I remember correctly all the Japanese cannon planes only run HE rounds for their cannons,meaning their ground destruction abilities are almost none

Really think they should disable friendly fire even in realistic. I get that it's supposed to increase immersion and make you a little more cautious but it's also not "realistic" for your team mates to start gunning you down because they got salty over something. Does more harm than good really.
I really hate the way Gaijin does the flight-models twin engine fighters... some of those shits were super powerful and fast... but in WT? Busses

It was made equally for the demoralizing of the enemy due to how devastating it is to anything on the ground and constant ground force harassment so the enemy doesn't feel safe anywhere. Easier to annihilate a fearful unfocused enemy.

You should use the SM.91 (3.7), it's bomb placement is garbage but the 6 20mms can easily deal with tanks with top down attacks, I use it in 5.7 games and can easily kill M4s, Panthers, Tigers

I was looking at the difference in quality of the 2.7 range Italian tanks to everyone else’s earlier, and wow do they stink. But if you are just scouting or using a TD to get the plane out maybe it’s not so bad?

Gaijin should kick & block players if they constantly shoot team-mates. It is not "that" difficult to detect. The guy in the first game killed Boz just because Boz was a better player and getting all the SL/RP. What a shame!

@@hawkertyphoon6590 1. Incompetence and ignorance is not an excuse of punishment. He should have been punished. 2. I don't believe his excuse of "I didn't know" for 1 second. In ground RB, it is blatantly obvious who is the enemy and who is an ally. Especially in the air. There are bloody BLUE markings everywhere. 3. Those shots are way too accurate for a newbie who is playing his first matches, especially in an air battle! If he has a UA-cam channel, he did it for lolz and giggles, which I understand, it is fine for his content but he still should have been banned for a week for so!

I can't play properly planes with the duck style, I always crash in the ground because I don't turn in time while shooting (and missing the shots)
Just make sure you aren't going too fast before starting an attack run. Also make sure to pull off after a couple of shots and don't get too fixated on your targets.
Another good way to get a lot of practice with planes you are struggling with is to create a custom match against bots. You can take your plane out straight away and get unlimited respawns, so you can keep practicing as long as you want to.
