Coming back to say thx , hit this yesterday. Most people scoot back and chase after u and i dont have a solution for that but the one guy who didnt chase me tapped quick.
Very interesting set up from what I call the reverse keta gatame. Once you're perpendicular to your training partner, it appears to become similar in appearance to a north-south choke, although finish details differ slightly (or though it seems). Nice work!
Yes similar mechanics to a north south choke where you just have the head, im terrible at north south chokes but with the arm in like this I find it works alot better for me and I can use it to set up the darce when they turn. Thanks!

Glad it worked! Keep trying it, you can also use it to set up a darce on the far side. That will be on my website when its up and running soon!
