I really love how they tap eachother with their feet, it's so gentle and the fact that it helps calm the female is so cute. they just walk so gently lol they run way too quickly and its terrifying but when they walk its cute

Dude why be so loud and crazy when theyre pairing. This has been shown over and over detrimental to pairing tarantulas. Take the daves little beasties approach. He barely talks when theyre pairing.

What type of tarantula is it?
Psalmopoeus Irminia, also known as the Venezuelan Sun Tiger. It’s a New World species but it does not have urticating hairs and has somewhat more potent venom than most New World species.

I couldn’t stomach it myself, but I think what he does is really cool and interesting and it actually made spiders somewhat less scary to me.
