so i've watched all your videos while digitizing over the past 2 weeks. I like the vlogs the most, because of the random, personalized content and I already know all the technical embroidery things, except for how you tie two threads together in 0.005 seconds when changing spools. Make a tutorial on that lol. Overall, I like the relaxing atmosphere, cute art, view out the window, and the general lifestyle that's portrayed with you and your husband being crafty for a living. keep up the good work when time permits

I've noticed! Thank you for all your lovely comments and tips, they've been great :D I will definitely make a video on how I tie the threads together one day. Thank you for watching my videos :D

Thank you very much for the detailed video, very clear. I'll be doing embroidery on a fairly thin and stretchable fabric, so I'll try using 2 layers stabilizer on the bottom and water-soluble on top.

Good luck! Unless the material has a really deep pile like towelling or knit wear you may not need to use the topper but it’s always worth experimenting

Can you do a video on how to program mighty hoops into a happy Japan machine. I recently purchased the HCD -3 15 needle machine

Very Helpful! Thank you so much! I'm about to start an embroidery with my second hand 1 needle brother machine and started feeling overwhelmed. I am just curious; do you ever use cut away in any special circumstance instead of doubling up on the medium weight tear away?

I use cutaway on any material I’m not confident embroidering on such as sports wear or thinner T-shirts because cutaway provides the most stability. But usually I use tearaway for the items I sell online as it is more efficient to remove

Thank you very clear and helpful. There’s a lot of waste, what do you do with it?

Unfortunately, there can be a lot of waste :( Some large pieces I can double up, overlay and reuse. If you are handy with a sewing machine I've heard of people sewing scraps of stabiliser together to reuse it, but sadly a lot of it does go into the bin :(

Hi Pink Bird. Enjoying watching your videos and glad to have found you channel. I'm curious about you hooping you seem to do it on a soft surface rather than hard hooping stations. Do you find this a better method. Sometimes I find I'm hooping too tight.
    Thanks,
    M

Hello! If you are referring to the fluffy pink background that is a rug I have sitting on top of a hard table. I use it only for aesthetic purposes for the video usually in hoop directly on the table. However, I’ve not noticed any difference between hooping on the rug vs the table surface. As long as there is something hard underneath that provides a resistance. 😃
