- This is a pure vintage BMW experience. On July 5 2024 I had the opportunity to ride the R25/3 from 1955. It has a 250cc single cylinder engine. It is a four stroke, with the 4-speed gearbox and it produces 13 HP. With its deep rumble it sounded very unique. To be honest it felt quite comfortable. It is a historical motorcycle. I was very happy and grateful when I heard that I can try it and go for a ride. :) Actually BMW had already back then their boxers, but they weren't so widely spread. The German Police had them and they were very expensive. This one was more of a working horse every day bike. This is also something that I heard from the owner. Be ready for Wednesday. It is normal thing,for motorcycle of that year of production,to have that kind of shifter,but I bealive that the riding of it it is a real joy!
It is an amazing experience. Everything feels so "mechanical", no buttons, no displays, no electric gadgets... two wheels and the engine. :)

Super motor, ali mi je smiješno malo vidjeti tebe ,visoku osobu na tako minijaturnom motoru, u par navrata sam mislio da ti se ugasio, bilo bi ga fora imati u garaži 👍
Da, da... Ovaj motor sam vidio voziti od vozača koji je 1.90 m i ima 140 kg. Sve je super radilo. :) To je samo potvrda da su nekad radili savršene strojeve. I ja bi ga imao. :) Ljep je, kako god okreneš. Hvala ti na ogledu drug. Jel Tomi kupijo nešto?
