it is possible, but for example with promods and west balkans; you can install promods but it will not show the areas of the west balkans dlc. It will just contain the default promods balkans areas. So it is basically the opposite of what you thought it would be, I'm not sure exactly but it probably takes like 6-12 months, then the new dlc will be needed for the map mods, but for now it is not needed, and doesn't even work as mentioned earlier.

Very true, this happened multiple times in this trip and also caused a crash for me, very annoying. It is also the case in some areas of ProMods Middle East I think.

The standard of ETS 2 maps should all be like this, there are only asphalt roads on the entire map, it loses its appeal.
its not realistic for europe to have dirt roads everywhere.
They need to take away those borders for the roads that don't go anywhere so I can see more things and add more small towns that I can fast travel to
