Joshua Bell’s interpretation of Chopin's nocturnes is unique and full of charm. He skillfully uses the advantages of string instruments to create more subtle legato contrasts in the phrases, which is smooth and full of emotion.
Everytime I hear Joshua play piano compositions, I am amazed at the emotional finesse, unique personality of expression and sheer heavenly beauty of technique and expression. Bell's family was from the city in Poland where Guberman was born Czestochiowa in Poland and the concert he gave in the building in Czestochowa that used to be a Synagogue Huberman attended. Bell's grandfather is buried in Czestochowa.
