3. About IELTS, I wasn't aware of the syllabus and actual exam pattern and I booked it right away. One should see the pattern and shouldn't believe in people's suggestions who haven't appeared for it. Even if you are good at English, it's an exam with a proper pattern and one might need time for prep. About the exam: it has 4 verticals; Reading(3 tasks), Writing(2 tasks), Speaking(3 tasks), and Listening(4 tasks). Its difficulty level is different in academic and general. Also, one ought to score 6 in each vertical to clear it and overall 6.5 band out of 9, for most institutions. Few institutions, sometimes ask for overall 7 bands. Thank you :)
