In my high school days in 2007-2009, I thought Root Eye would’ve a big artiste and touring the world as a dancehall guy. But sadly, it never became a reality. He’s really paid his dues and I’m happy for this interview

OMG! I'm blown away after watching "Hammer Time" for the time even though I've subscribed to the channel long ago and to be honest, what I've been seeing and hearing on social media about this guy is so dope and Mr Root Eye still remains a legend of Ghana Music #Salute!

Root eye, herrr back then, he used to be at Skyy Power Fm, Tadi back in the late 90's. I used to listen to his reggae show whenever he's on air. That guy can play old reggae tunes paaa. That was when Shakes - now Kojo Frimpong was also at the station. Root eye, emba doduo kunu was his catchphrase

Root Eye!!! The Kingsbite Man! That was part of his jingles. Oh man good old days. This man opened our eyes in Tadi. He had the exposure at the time. We idolised him. It was a big blow losing him to Ashh fm in Kumasi. Hammer God bless you.

I always wonder why root eye stopped doing music. I was a raggae /dancehall enthusiast but it pains me that I didn't get root eye's album. Is not late though he can still do it
