I like looking at small shops, to see how others set-up shop. Since, I also have a small shop. I like to get ideas, for my shop.
Looks a lot roomier & cleaned up now. I clean up & vacuum when done for the day. Helps the shop to be much more pleasant to work in.

Always amazed how fast a shop fills up. No matter how much room you do or don't have it fills up. Organization is the key. Yours looks very good.

That is so nice. I have wanted to put vinyl down but I it would be sooooo much work, After seeing what you did really makes me want to visit that idea.

Well I always seem to sacrifice cleaning for turning and now it is depressing to even go out there LOL.
But I am getting rid of one of my milling machines and had to get it toward the big door. But wow the space it has opened up is great and keeping me going. I just have to get the machine ready to go to a new home hopefully this coming Saturday. Sadly it is the machine I built into a CNC but that is just a sentimental thing. It is going to a good home though.
I will see your video has really got me fired up to make some changes as well.

Okay. Now you can come do my 11x21 shop! 😂 Nice flooring upgrade and improved storage. Should be easier on the feet and legs than the bare concrete. Isn’t the biggest problem with a shop overhaul the need to find a safe place to keep the shop contents while one does the upgrades? Looks great, Luie!

@@spindlesworkshop9744 I will let you off the hook then. Mine has extra challenges. Mechanic’s pit in middle filled with gravel, open eaves on two sides, no insulation above, and I have it only partially insulated and dry walled. But at least the roof does not leak and I have doors that lock!
Looks good. It will make sweeping up the shop alot easyer. The hard part for me would be moving all my tools lol. Great job Luie 👍

I created some carts on wheels and have a few tools on wheels so I can wheel them around freely 👍

@@spindlesworkshop9744 just for the additional wall space. It’s great where it is. It just hit me that the next thing that needs to live along the wall will probably tuck in nicely right there between the saw and shelves if turned.

Nicely done! Have you thought about paining those cinder blocks? That floor looks great! I don’t vacuum anymore, I just use my leaf blower and blow it out the doors, but make sure you move your wife’s car first or you’ll be washing it!

@@spindlesworkshop9744 I know the feeling! However, I've had to repair the speed control on my HF 12/36 twice in the past five months so I'm going to upgrade soon, probably to the Laguna 15/24.
