Please read the signs inside the builders hut. As much as I hate Marc, the signs explain why that madman didnt even build a back wall. The Fortress buildings have an outer and inner side. The outer side forms a wall and the inner side is... well inside. The minecart tracks are for advanced movement but you have to reasearch that first. Other than that... DOWN WITH MARC
the fortress is a fun one, but everything is laid out for you, so you gotta move em to the correct place! (it gets realy big and will look realy good with your shaders!)
The fortress is a building were you have to place a lot of buildings in certain places such as if you don't place the gate in the correct place you can't access the town hall also if you decide to carry on with the fortress I highly recommend automating stone brick
@@aidenthompson9889 you need to navigate to your config files, then open the one for minecolonies. Once inside of it, scroll down until you see something along the lines of block break speed and block place speed. Just increase those numbers, save the changes to the file, and open your game and play.
Fortress looks great but is a bit of a nightmare to build. Get a cobble gen, when you've done that get another, then maybe a couple more. Also check the layout guides online, there is a specific way to build it. You need a Lot of Flat Ground around your Townhall. Always place buildings with the chunk boundarties showing. Buildings are designed to be placed next to each other. The Town Hall becomes your inner keep. Around that inner keep you will be placing buildings. Then there will be a gap and you will be placing the outer buildings where the back of them form the outer walls of the fortress. In my build by the time the town hall was level 3 the fortress had a foot print of 8 x 8 chunks approximately. The barracks is designed to attach to the Townhall entrance and will stick out a long way forming the entrance to the fortress.
only problem with the shaders is the shaders you use is basted on iris and soduim which is fabric based and now the mod a year later is on cursed as a forge mod... so have fun reworking your 250 mod pack to be fabric compatible for a shader pack

Just a tip, you can change the speed at which the colonists work in the configs. i believe default values are about 25-50

the LootR chest's are per player basis so when miles opens one lewis you can open it too and get different stuff FYI great work guys funny as usual

you can attach the refined storage cable to the bottom of the disk drive in order to avoid moving the flux point
