This sounds really good! I've been noticing that people play this in a variety of ways- do you have the tabs for this version? It looks/sounds like standard tuning
It is indeed in standard tuning. So, the drop D version isn't much more difficult but I just worked it out by ear originally as a challenge and this was what I landed on. I don't have tabs but I could quickly notate the chords if you'd like in comment form.
capo 4 verse C - x32013 G - 3x000x G7/6 - 3x3030 chorus C - 8xx088 G - xxx087 Am - x02210 G - 3x000x Hope the formatting on this comment doesn't make it look like nonsense. The whole song is travis picked with an alternating 5th in the bass, since my version is slightly different than Lindseys my bass note goes to the lower 5th where his goes to the higher. Makes mine sound a little more Chet Atkins-y.
Beautiful performance of a beautiful song.
I've always really liked that chord progression. Good job man. Sounds pretty good.
Appreciate the words.
Beautiful
Making it look easy 👏👏👏
Perfection 🤙
Awesome job man!
Thanks bud, miss you.
Fuck yeah man.

@@thestradiosmiles wow thank you!! I'll definitely give this a try, props for working it out by ear
Formatting came through just fine btw 👌👌
Great version and very good singing voice
I like your version of playing it, Lindsey's way is finger torture and I just can't do it.
The chords are indeed the same, and learning the technically correct way of playing was enlightening, but I still prefer this way as well.
