As someone born and raised in Thomasville, it’s so exiting to see people come to our little town and become so interested and invested in what is our boring everyday. Watching this has reminded me how lucky I am and appreciate my home!
Casey, Your video on Thomasville was wonderful. I was born there and raised nearby. One of the houses you showed on Dawson Street belonged to my aunt and uncle. It is a beautiful town, and you should come back when you get a chance. You have a wonderful gift for storytelling.
I'm jealous! There you are sweating up a storm running around the grand architecture of the South while I'm up here in Canada amongst the snow piles and ice. Love your tours. Right up my alley. Can't wait for the next. Thank you for sharing and educating.
Good Lord, can you write! And shoot! And the smarminess just warms my heart. Whenever I leave an elevator, I turn and say "let's keep in touch…" to the thin-lipped person who said nothing during the ride.
Excellent video work. And...editing. Your background helps immensely. That's one photographer paying homage to another. Keep up your work. It's appreciated. Btw...nice sideboob! ☺😛
My mother-in-law used to live there. She has since passed away but Thomasville GA is by far a little hidden jewel. Love your videos. I look forward to every one.
If you’re ever in Thomasville again, I advise you to go to Billiard Academy and get some of their Chili Dogs. You won’t be disappointed. People in Thomasville just call it “The pool hall”.
The history and architecture is so rich. I'm a west coaster, and yes we have some beautiful places, but you are showing me a new world that someday I'd like to explore. Awesome Casey.
Casey once again you have surpassed your self with this wonderful post, I don't know how people can blather on about modern architecture it all seems too cold to me and I don't think the artisans are here anymore mores the pity. Thank you
It's great to see a woman who enjoys historic buildings and architecture as much as I do. I'm slightly disappointed, however, that you were in Thomasville at the same time as I was, and you never said "hi"!!! I spent 3 months there in my vintage van. Rock on.
I once rented a old apartment in Maine that once was owned by the school system, I found a door that I didn't know where it went too but I opened it and found in the attic area there was a tin ceiling like the one in that building. A little searching at the town office and the historical society and I found that it was originally owned by the local Mason's. Nice video Casey, you're a natural storyteller.
😂 communial drowning....I LOVE LOVE LOVE the architecture of the south east....LOVE LOVE LOVE the history and added tid bits of other information....YOU are what we have needed to showcase these beautiful little towns and what beauty is just tucked away...
Everyday i look forward to your new video, I watch it and when it ends I wish there was more! I check the time and it was a ten minute video, wow, i said to myself, it felt like 2 min. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome!
Wow, had no idea about places like this, having been a west coast girl most of my life! I absolutely LOVE these beautiful buildings and cute town. Thanks for bringing some joy into my day and another thing to add to my my list of things to do and places to go some day. This is becoming my new fav habit...Casey, coffee and laughter in the morning.
OMG Those ceilings!!!! I just love them! Definitely putting Thomasville GA on my to do list once I head north on my maiden voyage. Can't thank you enough for this one..it was awesome.
Casey Roman : If there is anyone that should be a ‘Grand Pooba’ of the Freemason’s it is you ! That would certainly shake up the secret keepers for generations to come ! Hahaha! Travel Safely.
another awesome video staring casey roman and the babe bus!!!!but for real looking forward to the next one...and are you gonna travel up the east coast? safe travels nancy
You definitely are giving me an appreciation of southern older buildings' craftmanship! I got a good laugh about the "thin-lipped" comment. Too bad you had to rush out of this town. I would have loved to see more. Keep up the great vlogs!
This may be skipping ahead just a bit, but if you find yourself along the coast in California (it's a little known place, most people have never heard of it; Cal-eh-forn-ya) I think you'd really like the Hearst Castle. If you're unfamiliar, Hearst was a ridiculously wealthy newspaper-er/publisher way back in the way backs. There are zebras on the property and the house (castle) is absolutely stunning. You'll feel all kinds of poor when you leave, but it's a fantastic piece of architecture.
Wow, great video, brought tears to my eyes. I'm not purchasing your pictures, I'm holding out for the book. Not yet on the road myself, I might just follow your path :D I will however, send some gas $$ from time to time. Happy Trails!
You're a gal after my own heart! I hate no trespassing signs. I always want to know what's there. If you ever make it out to my neck of the woods, California's Central Coast, visit Hearst Castle.
Beautiful places .. It'd sad thinking that so many people destroy houses and buildings like these .. Looks like you got a nice leg workout today . Stay beautiful and smiling sunshine
Appreciating the amazing details and history lesson behind the architecture. Thank you for doing what you do. I'm working towards my adventure on wheels and your content is part of the fuel that keeps me motivated. If you ever need assistant, count me in! 🙋♀️😉 Have fun and safe travels.
Haha! Did I hear use of the epithet "Ginger Spinster" somewhere? The term 'spinster' was once reserved for single women aged between 23 and 26; after turning 26 you'd be reclassified as a 'thornback'. To be taken as required, or not at all...
Hello Casey thank you for feeding me more wonderful history. If you happen to go to Lawrenceville go to a wonderful old house called Little Garden. My daughter is getting married there.
I admire your sass. I love the eloquence of your sharp tongued descriptions. When I grow up, I think I want to be like you; but am certain I am the elder. :)
You should build PR videos/commercials for each of the towns you visit because you're fantastic for creating interest in each place you have visited. I know I've added some to my bucket list. That & selling your photos to the Chamber of commerce for tourist postcards could fund your trip.
I am from Thomasville! I also may or may not be a Mason. Side note: I no longer live there. But most of my family does. That’s the Patterson house in the thumbnail!
Just so you know the Church is not in it's original location. As a local I know where houses that no one else knows of. They are private. Come to the Victorian Christmas. Horse and buggy ride on the cobblestone is amazing. That building was the court house until 5 years ago after that it got renovated.
Hi ya Casey love, glad to see you enjoying the hot ass South🔥🔥 lol - Savannah Ga. native here. There are truly some gorgeous old buildings to be found in some of these small towns. Heehee that's how friendly and welcoming Thomasville is, even the courthouse is wide open.
Casey, Your video on Thomasville was wonderful. I was born there and raised nearby. One of the houses you showed on Dawson Street belonged to my aunt and uncle. It is a beautiful town, and you should come back when you get a chance. You have a wonderful gift for storytelling.
Susie I was in awe of your family's hometown. I did not have enough time to get to all of it and will absolutely circle back in the future!
You are totally killing it right now. I always learn something when I watch your stuff.

Casey once again you have surpassed your self with this wonderful post, I don't know how people can blather on about modern architecture it all seems too cold to me and I don't think the artisans are here anymore mores the pity. Thank you
People planted their legacy in these old houses. Today...they hang fake sliding barn doors.
@@CaseyRoman Your right about that, that is why I so enjoy your post.
I love that you are showing that the east coast has things to do and see. I get tired of everything being on the west Coast.
Casey, I thought I was one of the few to enjoy the architecture of old Georgia. Thanks for sharing..
Omg. This is so beautiful and soooooo well documented
Gorgeous gorgeous GORGEOUS. So so beautiful. I love your videos and places you go!!

I’m heading out for the first time soon. Agree with you...this little town is a must see. Thanks for bringing it alive. You have a definite talent.
Next winter check out San Antonio Tx. Not a good summer trip but you really can't beat the winters. The mission trail would be a great documentary.
