Crane OCR system (Quay gate system) automates manual processes in crane operation. Visual optical recognition system makes most of tallyman work -- container identification, damage inspection, seal presence determination, door detection. Terminal trucks tracking and communication with their drivers instructs driver immediately where to deliver container on platform.
First STS crane OCR system with damage inspection was delivered to Baltic Container Terminal Ltd in May 2012. Project was realised in 8 months. Project was realised by company Autepra - port systems integrator from Lithuania. System is running on Visy OCR and damage inspection enviroments.
