I waited about 2 years to update my Seeker 2 Pro. It was totally worth the wait. The Seeker 4 Pro is an amazing upgrade in so many ways. I’m glad I got it.
@@OlightCanada its a matter of fitting it. Im tight for space in my vest but I will give it a shot. Also need to make sure its secure if things go sideways.
You sold me. I been thinking about getting a seeker for about a year now. The Midnight blue will be in my cart. Hopefully this order should get me to Yellow Diamond.
Huge issue for me is the holster doesn't protect from accidental switching to on. I have had this issue many times then I switched to the warrior . I do still use the seeker but I had to spend 40 bucks on a index holster that cover the on button.I don't need a light that has drained without me noticing, or worse an accidental on when you are not wanting to shine your spot.
I can see where you are coming from. I don't want this reply to seem like excuses, but the issue of accidental activations can be further mitigated. You can rotate the light so the button faces the belt clip, and that effectively prevents any activation entirely. Now, that does take some intent. But you can rock a pocket clip and use that to index the light when you put it away.
From what l understand, when the light is in the holster is is automatically locked and can’t turn on until you remove it from the holster, which then automatically UNlocks it.
Can you double click to turbo from low, and then from turbo double click to return to low? The seeker 3 pro has that feature and i find it very useful. It also works for moonlight and medium. While going from high to turbo, a double click takes you back to medium. Thanks
I just double-checked. If you double tap to get to turbo, from high, it does go back to medium mode. If you double tap for turbo from any lower mode, it will go back down to the previous mode! Thanks for checking me on that.
Just got mine yesterday. I've had olights since 2010 and love them, my question is will my warrior magnetic charger chargr the speaker 4 pro? Bc when I try and hook up the light doesn't say charging mode
It's a completely legitimate solution in the woods. Very secure and very accessible. Not sure it translates to any other use case, but strapping the bracket onto your shoulders, you can take the holster off your belt and mount it up there any time you want!
This is apparently a high quality flashlight but the holster choice is strange to say the least. Why not include a small cap to cover the USB-C port and make it waterproof too? Even the Gober has one. Are there other Olight holsters compatible with the Seeker 4 Pro?
Wish I would’ve known how good this was before spending all my money on a bunch of swivel pro max.. not sure I would’ve bought one but I wish I had the option!! 😅
Wonder how this would compare to my d4sv2 with w2's, still much prefer andruil 2 to olights ui, i like being able to switch between smooth/stepped ramping
Everyone is welcome to their own preferences. I've enjoyed olights UI and never looked back. When I hear people talk about anduril, it seems so esoteric. When I look at this, I see simplicity. Different scrolls for different roles I guess.
Mine is coming 2moro..annnddd another one next week, went to ebay 2 buy the pouch I saw in ur video and olight store sent me an offer for the seeker 4 for 97.00..and on top of that will be getting the arkfeld and warrior Nano 2night at 8..phew..my credit card is on fire..the charging cord that is gonna come with the nano is that compatible with seeker 4 if I don't want to put it in the case 2 charge?
Going from an M18 to a Warrior Mini 3 would be a great upgrade. Similar form factor, with the 18650 size and the tail cap + side switch combo. Much better performance, and even more compact. Definitely the right Olight for you.
@@OlightCanada Thanks for the reply, but are we talking about the same item? The seeker 4 Pro came with a flat piece of teflon type material about 1" x 2 1/2" that has 3M tape on one side. What does that have to do with a firearm?
The side facing holster is indeed an optional accessory. We aren't receiving them in Canada at this time, as I didn't mention it. I definitely should have included that.
I have the olight warrior x pro. I've noticed that when I press all the way down on the switch for the high beam, the flickers and go to a moon light mode. I tired charging the battery and the battery light alternates between red and green. I purchased a new battery to no avail. What might be the problem here?
If this happens with a fresh battery, the next step would be to clean the contacts on the tail cap inside and out. Rubbing alcohol and a qtip. If it continues to happen, it may be a warrantee issue for CS to handle.
Timer mode is accessed using the rotary dial. Press it once, and then press and hold. If you do that quick, the light will flash. Do it again, and the light will flash twice. One flash is three minutes, and two flashes is 9 minutes
I might have to pick one of these things up. I hated the scroll wheel on the Seeker 3 and I've been using the Seeker 2... but if I can press and hold the turn the light on as well it would be nice to go to the newer model
The new unlocking options are a game changer. But that aside, this new one is so much brighter! And the Seeker 2 lacks thermal management. So this one can stay brighter for longer.

Has anyone managed to unscrew the bezel? I'm struggling with unscrewing it on my new orange Seeker 4 Pro. Just wanted to swap the emitters bc i'm not a big fan of a cool light. But now after a few hours of unsuccessful attempts i feel like i should've stick with a black NW version :(
I was able to remove the bezel pretty quickly by just turning it counterclockwise while pushed into the palm of my hand. There should not be any thread locker anywhere on it.
Pff wont buy olight anymore until USB-C gets standard. :/ Even Apple went USB-C now! 😂 magnetic charging is cool but mostly a gimmick. Would be better to have the same cable as my phone while traveling.
Apple went to USB C largely due to upcoming legal requirements. USB C, as evidenced by this holster, is going to continue to be integrated into the product lineup
@@OlightCanada Ofc legal stuff, its because its going to be a standard within EU. I really like Olight, i got like 7 of them atleast. Bought baton 3, seeker 3 pro and Marauder mini. Its just annoying to have more stuff with me. The holster is the same thing as having a magnetic cable with me to make it work. :/ Usb straight into the battery would be much better, as before. I want 4 more Olights but too much cables in the end and magnetic charging isnt really that friendly for alot of reasons. I mean, do you remember when everyone needed a charger for their phones? People at work screamed for Iphone, Samsung, LG/HTC etc. That stopped a long time ago. If the cable breaks during a travel it cant be bought along the road. A phone charger can be found everywhere really.
The seeker seems like the perfect flashlight for everyone to have. I have a dog and I go outside when he barks at night and I would love to be able to see what he is barking at when I go out without having to walk all the way out to the area he is barking. I'd like to stand at the door and shine the light and see. Instead of putting myself at risk.
That model is a good example of a direct competitor. The only positive I see in that model is the LED tint. The Seeker 4 pro is much brighter, and has tons more features.
So why again do I need A FUCKING HOLSTER TO PROPERLY CHARGE MY LIGHT?! ANYONE that uses this light for work, wants to keep the holster on the belt/pants. Now you need to freaking charge your PANTS. Does the design team EVER talk to users? Edit: are you serious? You clearly want the user to utilize the holster. WHY IS IT NOT PROPERLY RATED FOR WATER?!
I hear your concerns. You've obviously very passionate about your particular preferences and use case, as we should all be. The holster is easily removed from the belt, and because it's ridged, it wouldn't be really practical to have it still on the belt while empty. In casual daily use, and outdoors, it's pretty conducive to taking the holster off while charging. In a work setting, maybe it's different. And to your second point, I have my concerns about the holster not being waterproof as well.
@@youtubeuser5424The battery isn't proprietary, it's a standard 21700 battery so you can swap it out. With the benefits of magnetic charging comes a few drawbacks.
It is IPX8 waterproof. As for charging the holster clearly has an open clip at the bottom so it's easy to take off or you can get a second charger and/or holster, or you can get a 21700 with built in charger. With all the stuff you two are getting wrong I'm starting to think you two just want to come up with reasons not to like this light.

I like your idea of strapping it onto the shoulder strap of a backpack. I night hike a bit. I take at least 4 Olights so mounting options are good.
I just won the seeker 4 pro on the OFan Tiktok live event here in the US today. Looking forward to getting my hands on it.
Congrats on the big win! You're a lucky guy. You're gonna love it.
Ah jeez! 🤷🏼♂️
I ordered one yesterday! My favorite feature is the tail switch! I love the size and power!
Thank you so much for the Neutral white!!!!! Buying mine tomorrow! This will replace my warrior X as a duty light. Hopefully it fits my molle holster.
I'm hoping you try the supplied Molle adaptor on your gear and give the smart holster a try! Is there a reason why you think you won't use it?

I agree, ☝️ in the wood, there’s nothing foolish about wearing it on the shoulder. My preference though would be for a headlamp. Very convenient.

Yes, the light will fit in the old holsters.
Perfect overview of this flashlight!
Thank you so much. I worked really hard on it! 😅
I'm sort of relieved the Seeker 4 Pro wasn't released in blue yet. I'm not a real fan of the midnight blue.
I'm sure it's just a matter of time. We know that true blue enthusiasts accept no substitute.
Thanks for the informative video! I do not have a previous version of the seeker. Can I buy the clip separately? Is it the S2P? Thanks!
Thanks for watching! Yes, it's likely branded as a Seeker 2 Pro pocket clip, but it could also be labeled the Seeker 3 pocket clip.
Have you figured out which magnetic charger works with the seeker 4 pro?
The MCC-3 magnetic charger is the most appropriate charger for the Seeker 4 Pro, if you're charging it outside the charging holster.
The holster is the weak point concerning water?
