Hey guys! We give this deck another chance tomorrow, AND IT'S ONE OF THE BEST SETS OF DUELS ON BOTH ENDS! I'm loving creating YuGiOh content, and I've been reading all the comments and criticism! We'll be starting a budget series, for making the best decks on a budget! That will start next week, after the Kaiba Corp event! Dissect my deck will also come back, and then just some of my own "money" decks that most people don't wanna see, but some do, so I'll keep it all coming! Thanks for all the support and advice as I learn the game more and more. :]
I wish Duel Links was still kinda like this today. It's nice to see that you had to think about how decks could work with the limited cards given. Now we have character decks, archetypes that are just OTK material and hard to counter unless you got the same deck.
he doesnt expect to win. If he wanted to win he could just play meta decks, but he wants to win with non meta decks, and in order to do that you need good cards
Hey Shady! This deck is actually almost exactly like mine other than I don't have a second Sergeant Electro or Pumprincess yet. One thing I'd recommend running though that I have that you don't is Magic Jammer. It can negate most of the biggest threats in the game right now, Pegasus plays Relinquished's ritual spell, you negate it, thats dead and he has a dead card in his hand, If anyone fusion summons you can negate that as well, and also you can stop your field spell from being destroyed, or stop mako from playing a second Umi to wipe your field with Daedalus.
W. H. Mako is great against a Relinquish deck once you have Levia dragon and Big wave small wave Relinquish is nothing. It's better to pop Big wave small wave if you have 2 or 3 water monsters on the field. Pop it summon Levia Dragon then pop Umi and Relinquish is gone
It's so fun when you're ahead on lifepoints or are running supremacy berry then just riryoku your own relinquished to both take damage and win lol. Best part about that is mirror wall doesn't stop it, tho twister can.
hey bud. Dont give up. For example, on this duel : 20:11, instead of setting your Sargent Electro , try just summoning him on attack position and set your trap / magic cards to make your opponent think you could maybe have a Mirror Wall or something like that. You could still loose the game tho, but sometimes this " bluff" helps and stops opponent from attacking you and you may come back who knows. Great content btw, keep it up !
Shady. I watched a video to see how you're doing. I'm gonna lie, I'm not this content, nothing personal just preference. But this is the happiest I've seen you in a long time. Just do whatever makes you happy and that's all that matters.
If you REALLY hate "Order to Charge", you COULD try playing "Riyoku Field" which negates any spell that targets a single monster. This also includes "Riyoku", "Enemy Controller", and any other Equip Spell that people might be running. Unfortunately, the wording on "Order to Charge" is really wierd so I'm not sure if it actually targets anything, and, well, "Riyoku Field" isn't all THAT great, but its a thought.
I like this deck! Been playing around with Pumprincess in a Weevil deck and it's been doing amazing since it also reduces their defense so the Panda gets more piercing damage. Tried Burning Land with Weevil after watching yesterday's video and it's pretty much guaranteed winning the mirror match. This KC Cup has given me so many cool ideas for decks to climb to KoG with
Ryu Senshi and Tyrant Balter are some sweet meta calls RN! Senshi can't be targeted by spells and you can pay 1000 LP to negate any trap. Balter is similar, but you pay 1000 LP to negate a spell and he negates the effects of monsters he destroys in battle
Shady, I don't know if it was just pure luck or what, but I decided to spend some money on Ultimate Rising as a last ditch effort to snag a sphere kuriboh, and not only did the final tier of the sale just load me up with ultra and super rares, but it gave me a prismatic. If you can spare the cash, see what you get out of it!
Fun deck i just found, the Unhappy Girl with Tea's Holy Guard ability has a ton of synergy. You can shut down the other field's monsters pretty easily and the Unhappy Girl won't be destroyed by battle. get other monsters out there and you control the field. Food for thought
i think the new spirits the 1500/1500 one plus the shrine that gives 500 atk and defence and lets you search more or a ritual monster could be big. in mountains you have 2.2k shinobirds and 2.7k susa soldiers, a way to get relinquished. you could use thunder dragons and bubonic vermins if you want it faster or with more field presence
sonic jammer is a flip effect monster that makes it so your opponent cant use spells for a couple turns i think. You have to level up bandit keith for it
Hey Shady, do you think a deck that is based around the Element Dragon and Gray Wing could be good? I've been playing around on the Kaiba Corp Cup and I got to lv4 from lv1 with that deck and I'm still using it with pretty good success. It would be great to hear your thoughts on the deck.
I play Electro in a Fire deck with Flame Emperor... When Flame Emperor comes on the field you can banish monsters to get rid of any Spell or Trap card, I just haven't found the right balance yet
I don't mind if you used different kinds of videos for meta decks, fan decks and fun decks. For example, Kaibu Cup is a timed event, so take your best decks and use them. After that's over, make different episodes depending on what deck you play.
When I was unlocking Bonz, my last mission was pulling out a comeback victory against Boz as Joey, with Bonz lvl 30. It took a long time, and I was using an amalgamated dragon deck(with 2 BEWDs). The duel I *finally* got that specific win on, I packed 2 De-Spells, just for Pumprincess. I was down to 600lp, Bonz was at 2400lp. My 2 BEWD were sans Pumprincess, thus full 3K power. He went on the defense. His last 2 monsters, were flip-draw cards. . . . . . I took out his last 2 monsters, he decked out before I ended my turn😂. And, I completed the mission☺.
Rare Metalmorph from lvl 40 keith negate spell effect, you rly want that cuz soon Jinzo will come and gravity blaster too and it will be gamebreaking (basically only kuriboh can counter your assault) In the meantime you can use it on sergent electro to boost him
Hey shady just so you know there's an option in the setting to turn off the character lines and animations so that the pacing goes by about the speed of auto duel.just letting you know because some of the voice lines get pretty old after a while
Hey Shady! If Mai's a problem, you could drop a harpie in and take advantage of their field. Possibly destroy the field itself? I'm not sure if it allows that, but if it does that'd be great!
Pulled off the most clutch comeback today in a duel with "blast held by a tribute" trap card. He had 4000-50 LP on me and tributed a blue eyes with 2 other monsters. He tried ending it with blue eyes, but I flipped my trap and it destroyed each attacking monster/dealing 1000 damage. Then won the next 2 turns with just 50 LP xD
@shadypenguinn- You need to pressure constantly in this game. You gave your opponent with the reliquished time to get another sphere kuriboh and set up on you Yes, you will get countered from time to time but waiting for a clearing won't happen with better players. That's the only thing I see that comes to bite you while playing. Great games otherwise! Love these vids. Brings back a lot of memories playing in the tournaments. (^w^)^
its easy to know if he has sphere kuriboh if u attack and he has no face down traps, when u have to wait a bit before attack goes through he has kuriboh when u dont have to wait he doenst have it
Hey shady, I would definitely switch out the dragon for saurus. I've been running a similar deck for a while, and it's really strong since you still go up against dino kingdom frequently.
I play a different version of this deck with Balloons And White Horned Dragon, Pumpkins/Wonder Balloons is OP, White Horned Dragon gets power ups from De-Spells/Twisters that try to get rid of my cards (It only needs 2 spells to be a 1 tribute 3,000 beater with peak skill). 2 Pumpkins/1 Wonder Balloon is almost like exodia unless my opponent has straight flush (which I have only seen 1). I just need Sergent Electro to make it even better
I was thinking of combining pumpkin and balloons, do you think using some warm worms to mill some cards from your opponent will help getting power ups for white horned dragon? really want to use this card.
I personally don't get in long enough duels where WW is really necessary , you can run it if you want, but you only need 2 Magic cards in your opponents grave anyways to get a really strong card on the field, which can easily be done. Especially if your opponent has a field spell. The whole goal is to get your opponent attack as low as possible while making Dweller as strong as possible.
What is the best kind of deck to use against the NPC in duel links? I'm trying to maximum the assessment points so that I can build up my keys so that I can farm the legendary characters. Thank you for any advice!
Cesar it's not worth farming them generally, altho maybe it's more enticing during double keys event. Without double keys it's better to just use an autobatlle deck, you'll waste less time that way. I haven't farmed legendary duelists for a while and have like 10k normal keys and 2k ish of the coloured ones, but to farm them takes time so I don't generally bother unless I really need something. Like blast held by a tribute so I can stage up.... I melted the first one, I'm dumb. Don't melt your blast held by a tribute guys, even though it's kinda bad in current meta.
I love your yugioh content!! Keep it coming lol. I'm more of a collector in real life. But I've realized I'm a collector in this game too. I don't care for playing but I love getting rare cards and opening packs.
I would like to see a maxed out relinquished deck if you could with multiple sonic birds, senju, spehere kuriboh, and thunder dragons if you can make that happen

I don't think Order To Charge should not exist. It should be one of the first cards to get limited though to maybe two of them, making them hard to get and maybe not worth the trouble.
add a 3 copied of golden apples and have a 20 card deck using yami yugi have power of dark and you will almost always win and I recommend a deck like that

i think u should buy ultimate rising and the water one cuz in 30 march they will be gone so u should get the most cards until they over cuz u can get the others after
Everyone always talks about card advantage and how bad it is for cards like Magic Jammer which force you to discard a card to active. I agree that it's inconvenient and sometimes it's really not worth it, but if you can destroy something like an Enemy Controller at a key time you can win the game straight up, and that's completely worth it.
Yea, that's what I meant. There's usually more reliable cards to have in the deck, but sometimes you just need a game winning card and Magic Jammer can be one.

I used to always lose to Relinquish, and I hated it. So I now use Relinquish and I love it lol.

you do realise you could tech in a harpie or two to take advantage of the mai matchup it gets a boost from peak as well and is a wind monster.
That's exactly why I run a kaiser in my relinquished deck lol.

If final attack order is in the game that deck would benefit from it it's a continuous trap that forces all face up monsters to stay in attack mode

Use noblemen of extermination instead of stomping, you don't need a monster on the field to use it. Helps me a lot against order to charge
I love the pumpkins. I've been using them in my dragon deck since the pack came out!

After grinding for weeks for Enemy Controller, I finally got it and it was prismatic! I was hyped. Now to grind for champions vigilance! lol

You need to try Divine Dragon Excellum. For every other Excellum in the grave, he gains special effect, one that makes him a lvl 4 2500 beat stick

Riryoku Field should be a good counter to Order to Charge. You don't need to discard anything and it's really cheap (2500 gold).
hmmm.... I should run this.. yes. Does Riryoku Field work on Riryoku? I'd guess not since it targets a receiver I guess.
Try out Wild Tornado, that card totally punished hasty Daedalus users! They nuke the field and you can blow up their Daedalus!

It's just damage, and mirror wall or riryoku or metalmorph can all get over it. + other things.

you know what's broken? soul exchange. instant kill your monster, and now you have to deal with a tribute summon. good luck dealing with that

Pumpkins is super good
replace shard with jar of greed. It only draws 1 but as a trap you can bluff back row and you don't have to wait 2 turns to draw
Shard of greed works with dweller in the depths..

I was thinking about playing a deck like this, but I have 0 Element Dragons, even though I have all of the super rares in your build.
You should have dropped the Element Dragon at 7:26; You would have had 2 attacks since Sonic bird is a Wind.
I paused the video to type my reply, only to hit play and see you notice the misplay a few seconds later. lol

I was on rank 1900 yesterday in Asia ... I lost around 600 DP now on rank 8000+ Y_Y .... REALLY TOUGH IN ASIA COMPARE TO OTHER REGION.

legendary fisherman. does take the tribute but 1850 is decent and uneffected by spell cards
I would replace Airknight with Kuriboh seeing as how it would have been better each time if it was in your hand when Airknight was.
Another good counter trap/spell card is xing zhen hu
take out one of your twin headed behemoth because you can only use the effect once per deal.

Add a 4 star Lady bug into the deck, could really balance it out

i think u should buy ultimate rising and the water one cuz in 30 march they will be gone so u should get the most cards until they over cuz u can get the others after
Aaron Anderson ultimate rising has the best support cards but u should also pull on the other packs.
Everyone always talks about card advantage and how bad it is for cards like Magic Jammer which force you to discard a card to active. I agree that it's inconvenient and sometimes it's really not worth it, but if you can destroy something like an Enemy Controller at a key time you can win the game straight up, and that's completely worth it.
It's usually only ever worth it if it means you can win next turn.
Yea, that's what I meant. There's usually more reliable cards to have in the deck, but sometimes you just need a game winning card and Magic Jammer can be one.
They should hurry up and give us Six Samurais so we can just save time by winning turn 2.

You could have won the duel at 25-35:00 against Keith if you attacked twice with the element dragon..
