    I don't know if you are cycling through some older tutorials but I am so excited about this bracelet. I want to try different sizes in the rounds and try for earrings too. Kudos to the designer.

    I love wire wrapping but have yet to try beading. This tutorial actually inspires me to try beading! Not to intimidating! Thank you! :)

      +Cathijudd21 Great, and you are welcome. That is often how people's beading skills progress from basic beading to wire to beadweaving.

    I want to try this. Can the seed beads be all one color?

    I love the pattern and it came out lovely, but I didn't like the way it was finished using one of the bead pockets with the loop, so I just added a small clasp.

    The "chain" makes a good bracelet without the beads, or so it seems to me. I think it looks really nice "bare".

    I HAVE to make this one. Looks easy. I do have a question though, in the beginning, it showed 8 mm pearls; you are using 6 mm. Does it matter which one you use?

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  9 років тому

      +Diana Wagner She used 8mm the whole time, and just a few times accidentally said 6mm.

      @Potomacbeadco  9 років тому

      +Francine Deneault all projects get started with about 3-4 feet of thread, then we just add on as more is required. See this video for adding on:

    You talk about using 6 mm beads and 8 mm beads. Do you know which you used? Thank you.

    I have another question. She never states how long of a tail to leave in the beginning or if it is suppose to be knotted or if she uses a stopper bead. And how does she get the zig zag? I am doing it as she goes along and mine isn't zig sagging.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  9 років тому

      +Diana Wagner We always start projects with about 4 feet of thread, then just add on as needed. Every project varies, particularly given the variance in people's wrist/neck sizes. Here is a tutorial that shows how to add on:
      ua-cam.com/video/BmjC1m4ghGc/v-deo.html
      The zig zag question is answered in one of the other comments:
      "On every loop that you make in the base, alternate the second created ladder stitch. First loop go over, second under and so on.."

    • @naomijensen9524
      @naomijensen9524 4 роки тому

      @@Potomacbeadco I had to add thread twice, which was fine. this pattern just uses lots of thread.

    If i were to make these with a 6mm bead could i use 15/0 sead beads?

  • @enelyags2609

    In this video are you using 8mm or 6mm pearl. You said in the beginning that you were using 8mm but in the video you refer to putting 6mm. Is it 8 or 6?

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  9 років тому

      +enelyag s it is 8mm, as shown in the description.

    • @Krissyb810

      +Potomac Bead Company well she should be more clear that she using 8mm not 6mm. No offense but she's not that great an instructor beautiful work but........Allie is more clear.

    I don't know if anyone has done this and traded out 6MM's for the 8's but wondering if its just a matter of removing one of the single beads and one set of the ladder stitch to downsize it to work for 6's.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  9 років тому

      +The Anti-Social Hunter/Lady Dark Shade Not sure without trying it, but let us know how you make out. We often don't have time to make different variations on each design with so many other patterns/tutorials in the queue.

    • @ladierose1021
      @ladierose1021 8 років тому

      You probably can use 6mm's. Trade the 11/0 seed beads for 15/0's. Good luck.
