The Bojary Reservoir in Biłgoraj was established in the 1970s on the Osa River. The lagoon was opened to the residents in 1978 on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the City of Biłgoraj and was called: "Christmas Recreation Center in Biłgoraj - Bojary". In those years, the opening of this lagoon was a great event. However, for many years, the center declined and fell into disrepair. It was only in 2013 that the modernization of the facility was completed. Around the lake, a cobblestone boulevard with benches and lanterns, a stage, a beach volleyball court, an "Anaconda" slide, water showers, toilets and a playground were built. Water equipment rental buildings were renovated and new floating equipment was purchased - kayaks and pedal boats. The gastronomic base around the facility is also developing.
The offer includes water equipment rentals, an "anaconda" slide and a beach with volleyball courts. There are also impressive fish in the water, so you can come with a fishing rod.
Bathing season 2022
This year, the bathing season starts on June 27 and will last until August 31. The swimming pool will be open from 10:00 to 18:00. Last year, the water level in the lagoon was classified as excellent.
