Yup they gave me 7k and 1 month later took it down to 320.00. Lmbo I had emergency spinal surgery and my other credit card usage went up a bit. No lates no collections I didn't lose my job. My other credit cards didn't do that to me. I just closed it I won't apply ever again
This is what I am talking about. I cannot understand why you would give someone a generous credit limit, only to turn around and hurt them by dropping the limit.

Sorry to hear that. Some of these sound like horror stories.
Synchrony bank and Wells Fargo did us the same way. No late payment, good credit. It’s a blessing in disguise so I’ll just close it.
Same, dropped mine by 30% and now created an 100% utilization.

Citi customer service is trash.
I wrote to them, talked with them to explain the situation to avail. I do not think I will be recommending them to anyone.
Could seem to get the help needed. If you have customer service people available what are they there for if they cannot solve problems
I am really not happy with how they operate. They don't seem to care about their customers.
