- Former foreign minister Alexander Downer says Israel is expected to launch a “precise” retaliatory strike on Iran in response to its missile attack.
Mr Downer told Sky News host Chris Kenny the attack is likely to be “pretty painful for Iran”.
“It will teach the Iranians that if they continue with this strategy, it will lead to an all-out war.”
