THIS THING IS A WORK OF ART. . .truly. It's beautiful. Thanks for posting . . for those of us who are cad-disabled, it would be great if sometime you could start from zero and show us your process step by step from the beginning. And maybe a voice over? I'd be happy to buy you a BUNCH of coffees for that . In fact, there is a dirth of really good advanced Rhino tutorials on line. I think people would be happy to join your channel and PAY for it.
Thanks! I always try to be creative with the mechanical parts I design. With regards to your question, this particular 3d model was made a while ago, so here I just modified a small portion of it. The whole process took a much longer time. Since it's a work done for a customer, initially I had no plans to capture the modeling from start to finish. In fact, some of my older videos show exactly what you are looking for, but some people said that they are boring to watch, because the modeling is slow and tedious. :) This sort of videos is direct modeling of components to be used in manufacturing for real projects, so they require patience and include plenty of trials and errors. Most people expect quick tutorials instead.

Hi, I use a 3d mouse by "3Dconnexion" (a subsidiary company of "Logitech") called SpacePilot. You can check their latest devices here: 3dconnexion.com/us/spacemouse/
Rhino is better than both programs for direct geometry reconstruction of this type. In my entire life I haven't seen a single Solidworks model free of geometry errors. ua-cam.com/video/v6w95PDBPy0/v-deo.html
Awesome ! Great !
Thank you!

Magnifique travail!!
Merci pour l'avis!
Sick job dude!
Thank you!
Ну ты понимаешь, что я хотел сказать , про параметрические CAD...
Да, к сожалению, Rhino не поддерживает параметрическую историю модели, поэтому любое изменение требует ручной работы, которая занимает много времени.
Профессионально !
Спасибо!

@@AutomotiveCNC thats great
Why do you use rhino for this type of work instead of solidworks or fusion360?
Rhino is better than both programs for direct geometry reconstruction of this type. In my entire life I haven't seen a single Solidworks model free of geometry errors.
