Very good sails also in terms of quality. Whats the biggest change between the Evo 13 and 14 apart from the Battens ?

Great video Nico and Enricho. Outstanding content. I have sailed the V8 and this sail looks amazing. Given that it is lighter material, how’s its reliability compared to the V8?

Hey Kevin, EVO 14 has a great durability. I has more tension then v8 so probably not same as v8 but almost there! Durability is our important factor and we try to improve it over the years. 🤙💪

Really nice video, I only missed some parts of the new changes like the bigger sleeve or different sail sizes… One question, are the zippers of the cams and boom in metal again like the evo 13 or in plastic like previous years? This was for me a really big downgrade considering the price of the sail. These are just some small thoughts of me about the new sails, but I’m sure the evo 14 sails will again be the best slalom sail on the market 🤩

Hi Tom,
You are right, the sleeve is touch bigger on new evo 14.
Zippers are back in plastic. Last year we change factory and we faced many things that we had to work on. Zippers where one of them. Sorry for that!

Does it work for both fin and foil ?

You can sail our fin sail foil to but it is not high performing oriented for foiling. It is for fin sailing! So on fin you will have absolutely everything you need on for foiling will

Enricho is great on race course, but struggling a bit with the presentation :). Great sail but it breaks the bank a bit :)

I try to do my best and help as much as i can! We have Nico for presentation so no need to be better in it. I am just small support 🤙
There is a lot behind reason why sails are worth the price. They are the best performing sails you can get, Neil Pryde is brand with big tradition and there is a lot of development and knowledge behind each product. 🤙💪

Danke Nico, in der UA-cam App funktioniert es einigermaßen nur Enrico spricht schnell wie ein Maschinengewehr 😮da kommst mit dem lesen nicht mit…. Habe das Video jetzt zweimal angeschaut und begriffen das ich nach Evo X, Xll und Xlll jetzt das 14 er brauche….😂

Hi Nico,
tolles Segel....aber die Nähte und dieses empfindliche hochwertige Produkt auf Schotterpiste aufzuriggen ist ein absolutes "No Go".
Sowas riggt man auf der Wiese auf, das solltet Ihr den Kunden dieser tollen Entwicklung doch mindestens auf den Weg geben. Wie kann man die Nähte dieses Segels nur über diese Betonpiste ziehen.
Unterirdisch, sorry.
Hier bin ich doch etwas enttäuscht über diese in dieser Hinsicht laienhafte Präsentation.
Sonst excellent finde ich.

Stimmt, hätte man erwähnen können- so wie in quasi jedem Rigging-Video von NeilPryde. Zum Glück kennst du dich aus und hast nicht auf unser Video hin deine Racing Segel auf Steinen aufgebaut. 😄
Die Realität ist aber auch, dass man auf Teneriffa immer auf Beton, Steinen oder im Sand aufbaut. Das ist nicht wirklich schön.
Hatten hier auch nicht wirklich die Wahl, weil es 30 Knoten Wind hatte und wir uns einen Windgeschützten Ort suchen mussten.
