I took part in the Lessons From Auswitch project in October 2018. Great video, one of the key things from my time on LFA was the fact we shouldn’t see the Nazis as monsters. They were humans, if we ignore they are human like us then we allow these events to occur again.
I wish a lot more people could take part in the project, but I also felt a huge negative on my trip was that the place was too crowded. I didn’t get a chance in some areas to view or reflect on what I was seeing.

Thanks for making this video. I for one had never heard of the Hollowcost (Not sure of spelling?) so its interesting to be introduced to a new obscure event in history. What tickles my interest is why this particular genocide seems to be so important when there have countless other genocides committed in world history like the Holodomor, The Katyn Massacre, The Rwandan Genocide, The Killing Fields or any of the other atrocities committed under communist rule which millions of people suffered as victims. Maybe this Hollowcost deserves to get more spotlight because I feel like most people don't even know about it, it's sad that small things like this can just be brushed aside and not payed attention to because people just forget 😕.

An excellent video, but - just as a fyi - Hoess is, ironically enough, pronounced like "hearse".
