- Dawson And Brett help bring Olinsky's daughter to Chicago Med but also help to connect two people who were separated by the chaos of the fire.
Season 5 Episode 15 "Deathtrap"
51 responds to an out of control warehouse fire with dozens of victims inside. The team races against time to try and save them all. One of the victims is Alvin Olinsky's (guest star Elias Koteas) daughter Lexi who was found in critical condition. Later on, 51 joins forces with Hank Voight (guest star Jason Beghe) and the police department when they discover that the fire was intentionally set. Also, Severide tries to get in contact with Anna.

You really can't blame a girl. She doesnt have a special training like soldiers/police/fire fighters. In moments of panic like this, people just act instinctively. And later it just hits them. The guilt and remorse.

Alvin with his daughter Lexi was such a heartbreaking moment. And I miss Alvin on Chicago pd, fire and med.
Al was such a great character. He didn’t deserve the end he got with that guard. 😡. He was what held the pd team together

This is so sad because this actually happened near where I live a couple years ago. People as young as 13 died. It was intentionally set
On one hand, I can't begin to imagine, what it is to be like, living so close to a horrific tragedy ...

One unfortunate soul fell to earth, and landed on the roof of a office block, 30mins away from me, by bus. I can imagine what you are feeling is similar to what those whom worked/work in that building did, and will do. Just trying to imagine what it must feel like to being that close to death is beyond me. And I wouldn't blame you for moving because of that ...
However, if I had a chance to speak to them, I would say the same thing I will say to you: that you are allowed to have the feelings you're experiencing right now, even if they don't make any sense, such as guilt. Survivors guilt is very real, and, ontop of whatever grief you may also be going through, both are more than enough to cause clinical depression, and all of that which entails with it.
Thus this: whatever you're feeling, that is perfectly legitimate. You're not alone, as, tragically, many people have also lived/live close to an horrific disaster. So don't bottle up your feelings, and pretend that they don't exist, out of a fear of not being understood, when there is plenty of help out there, and plenty of people whom understand that nightmare.
And it is definitely not a sign of weakness to seek help. From personal experience, it actually takes strength to seek help, as that is akin to finding strength to confront those mental daemons, rather than run away from them ...
I hope you'll find that, and, perhaps, eventually, some kind of inner peace.
Take cares, and go safely.

Now Al is with his daughter taking care of her in Heaven 😢 miss his character so much. Now we have lost Otis too 💔 so sad, not had a chance to see that episode yet as I've been catching up on another series but know it's going to break my heart watching his last Scene 😭. I know they're only characters on a show but it's a bloody good show & it makes you laugh, cry, feel fear, love ect that's good acting for you, great casts in the One Chicago Franchise ❤️

This episode reminded me of the fire at the Kiss Nightclub here in Brazil in 2013. It was horrible, 242 people died that night.

This fire reminds me of the Utopia fire in 2002 in Peru. It wasnt intentional but all the doors were closed (chains) and there was no water in the bathrooms (the owners had closed it). The owners where on trial and they flee the country, just caught them in 2020 and they will go jail…..

This was a crossover with Fire, PD and Justice. Not Med but there were already many scenes in the hospital in it so that wouldn't make sense

I believe that you guys can help her but it’s Way better for her to be in heaven and that’s hard to keep them alive and it’s so sad to see that she is having a hard time with it attached with that she currently might die but she might not make it but I know she can

Mass casualty's they tend to just work to treat the most obvious and concerning injuries and stabilize them. Not much time to wash down people beyond the required for treating the injuries
