My first and only win ever was a succubus merchant.
Took a long time to get used to haha but it was an amazingly fun run.
I will say dominate is very busted.

Succubus has been one of my favorite races since I started playing, though through bad luck and bad timing, I've never BEATEN the game as one (yet). Merchant is fun, too, especially in multiplayer! - Zach

17:08 is this right? does raising your unarmed raise all weapon skills as a goblin? last time i tested it, it only works for actual "weapons" since unarmed isnt actually a weapon class then it doesnt do anything

Unarmed is treated as a weapon skill for the goblin racial ability, yes. Just to be extra sure I booted up a goblin conjurer game and ran around for a bit. Using my unarmed attacks got me my first weapon skill level (raising all my melee skills to 1) and then using a random sword I got, my next level gave me +2, which raised all my melee skills up to 3.
Goblin durability increases also work on fist "weapons" which is pretty handy given that they are sometimes a little hard to find. Goblin monk is a solid class combo for pretty much all of those reasons.
One thing to remember is that changing your "form" will remove the goblin melee skill ability entirely. Polymorph or shaman shapeshifting will NOT raise other melee skills alongside the one you're using. So maybe that's what happened for you?
