As a advocate of the original 33 Stradale being the most beautiful sportscar ever made I wish the new one was as gorgeous as the Daytona SP3, I like this one but not as spectacular for me, bit to much Zagato like for me
It's one thing to produce a beautiful car. It's a completely other thing to only build a handful of them. This either means that Alfa Romeo loves the ultra rich more than anyone else who buys their cars or they don't have the skill to make more than a few. Either way, it doesn't do the brand any good for the overwhelming majority of people that they rely on to survive. A true halo car means you build as many as you can sell that represents the best your brand can offer. Not some high end vehicle you outsource to people who do a better job than you.

i don't like it.. comparing with the original one they lost completely the differential reason between the front and rear axle, they have weighed it down with too obvious a rear load, the attachment of the front (bonnet) to the windshield is clearly too advanced resulting in non-compliance, they have completely forgotten the curvature of the windshield (one of the most beautiful things of the classic 33), the headlights at the front have a scalar shape, making the attachment part to the bodywork a sort of unsightly flap, the rims are too large in diameter and the shoulder is too low, they are 90s stylistic features that should be abandoned for tires with high shoulder (road holding is even better, see Formula 1)... they could start a new course with the revisiting of the 33, they did a banal job like many see today, nothing special...

@@TempeMax il tuo commento non era rivolto al merito (ognuno ha il suo ovviamente) ma al fatto che praticamente sbagliava ad esprimere critiche, tu la definisci una "super alfa" io dico che non è un alfa romeo, è stata fatta su telaio maserati (MC 20) e motore nettuno V6 sempre della MC20, si chiama accrocchio, una bestemmia, te immagina una porsche 992 turbo con un motore volkswagen perchè di questo si tratta, e poi ci sono alcuni stilemi e scelte aerodinamiche davvero discutibili come ha indicato il lettore, e poi in cosa si cimenta quest'auto? quale competizione? è un revival felliniano per pochi milionari, la 33 "tipo 33" (la stradale era la fotocopia omologata su strada) è stata creata per partecipare al campionato del mondo sportprototipi e canam, poi gare in montagna e cronoscalate, questa invece? un esiguo (e banale) esercizio di stile scopiazzando una maserati ...

Per citare un esempio ,la F40 si vedeva che era stata progettata da uomini con dentro la passione vera,e non a solo scopo commerciale, di volgare marketing. I don’t like the headlights. Nor the side profile of the rear lights. I do like the way the infotainment system is hidden though. I think I’d still rather one over the Maserati.. and I do really like those!

I guess if you were rich you would like to have a car like this inside your garage without thinking about the designer.
